So supposedly a parent of the shooter was found dead in their home and the mother was a kindergarten school teacher at the school. don't know if the mother was supposed to work that day or not. So maybe the nut was out to destroy his whole family.

So then why kill all the little kids? I dont get it

He was a very unhappy and depressed guy. It also appears he had a relationship end recently.

Yeah, and it seems like he was already pretty despondent. We'll eventually have to ask whether he was getting help; he seems to have recognized he needed it.

Yeah, this one is hitting me hard too, and I don't know why it would be any different. My friend's school isn't in the district, so he and his wife (teacher too) and kids are all ok. I was in the hospital last night with one of my kids with something that turned out to be nothing serious, so maybe I'm still emotionally charged from the scare of that. Maybe I'm just getting old and soft. Regardless, this is just too much, just too sad. Just too, evil.

This is what I'm afraid of, there's some seriously mentally damaged people out there.I know gun control is a huge issue, but depression is almost always the cause of these things and you just can't stop someone who wants to do something like this once they've made their mind up. I just have this image of one cable network having the temerity to start interviewing kids and the rest standing there thinking they'd better get in on the action.
