Wow, this is really horrible.

Unfortunately i don't see any way to stop these people... none.

If someone wants to be on a suicide mission, it's pretty tough to stop them.

You take someone armed, prepared to lose their life, and with a plan... and taking on innocent unarmed people with no plan of retaliation and the armed guy has such a HUGE advantage.

If they took away guns it would reduce the problem but then they'd probably do something insane like car bombs or something.

It's just sad and sick...

why is discussing the root cause of this problem "garbage." This is exactly what we should be talking about.

Because its your opinion of what the root cause was...and you have used this shootings as a "hey, look at me...I started a topic about violent video games and now Im going to use this shooting to try and claim I was right all along".

It was apparent years ago that he's either an alias or a close personal friend/family member. No other logical explanation for the miles of rope he's given while other get a month ban for "poopy." One of the reasons I largely left for a few years.

Joe has made it clear in the past if someone gets reported enough he'll simply ban them to save himself the hassle, even if said poster is breaking no rules. I suggest everyone who has a problem with Levi start reporting him frequently.

If somebody can't differentiate between shooting at a bunch of pixels on a TV screen that is shaped like a person, and shooting people in a real life situation, the real problem is not the video game. This shooter and others like him have a complete lack of any sort of empathy whatsoever. It's something that I just cannot comprehend.

The death toll in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting is said to be preliminary and will likely change, CBS News senior correspondent John Miller reported. Though it is not clear if there was a second shooter inside the school, but police reportedly had another individual in custody who was suspected of being involved in the massacre

I work on terrorism planning for a large insurance company and we model out all sorts of events. This was one of them. If you remember, there was a similar type tragedy in the old Soviet Untion about 5 years ago and it was a coordinated terrorist attack. That is why I picked up my son at a nearby school.
