WItnesses apparently saw an adult being led away in handcuffs, but it has not ben confirmed that there was or, if so, the reason.

This is why I could never be a cop. There's no way I'd be taking that guy alive.

How does one person decide to do this, let alone in a case where they know a second person who is willing to do it. So my first thought was that it might be somebody who was not involved, but was in the building somehow ended up with one of the shooters guns. Probably wrong, but every instinct in my body rejects the notion of one person being capable of this, never mind two.

On the local news they are calling for more Medical Examniners to come to Newtown. Not enough people to process the dead. Little kids, Kindergarten and first graders were the most killed. This has to go down as the most evil act ever committed. The most innocent, unknowing soft targets. They didn't even know how to hide.

I'm not personally of the opinion that stricter gun control laws are the end-all solution to these things, but when there are two shooting rampages on opposite sides of the country within four days of one another, the gun-regulation crowd is probably wondering when they're allowed to discuss regulations. It often seems that these shootings get closer and closer together.

Yeah, I'm not sure what the protocol is when you can discuss things but now would seem appropriate. I'm not sure what to feel. I'm angry, sad, confused and all types of emotions but one thing for damn sure is I want to do everything in my power to make sure this doesn't happen again. And that starts with talking about it. In fairness, there is nothing any of us can currently do to change the number of people that are dead.I can see how if someone is convinced that guns are the problem, an event like this would completely infuriate them.

I personally don't own a gun and never will. I also have no idea why any human would want to own an assault weapon, that is specifically designed to fire rounds fast and to KILL PEOPLE.

I also am disgusted that a person thinks that their life is so bad that its acceptable to go shoot up a freaking elementary school. What an awful human.

Finally, you have to admit that video games MIGHT be causing a problem here. We have people that play video games where they can walk around a city and mow people down with machine guns. They play on huge TV's and it almost seems life-like. It's not hard to imagine a person mentally snapping and acting out things they've been doing in video games, in real life.

Guns, people in general, video games...they are all part of the problem. It's hard to see how anyone could argue otherwise.

CoD, Battlefield, Halo, etc. sell the vast majority of their games in America.These games barely make a dent in Japan (and Xbox 360s aren't even sold there as there wasn't a market for them).

Not agreeing with the thought that video games are part of the problem necessarily, just saying that the kind of violent, gun video games that would be what he is referencing are pretty much only in America at high levels.

While the sales are abysmal the PS3 is sold there and very popular. Every major shooting game, except Halo, is available on that unit.

but the shootings games aren't. PS3 is a Japanese company and still has quirky Japanese games and RPGs (Square) that sell like crazy in Japan. CoD doesn't sell in Japan.
