I've had Boldin on my fantasy team for the past 2 years, and I've never seen anything but highlights of games.

Man, was I impressed after last night. He's tough as nails.

I think the dude had more broken tackles than Edge.

How many looks did he have last night? 15, 16, 17? Bears knew who Leinart was targeting by half.

And few of his catches were 'easy'. He was almost always in traffic and/or knew a jarring hit was coming on some of those slants. Still hung on to the ball.

I'm telling you, he's a freakin monster, and gladder than ever that he's on my team.

I was really waiting for Leinart to air out a couple of deep balls and let him battle for the catch. Matt just didn't have time for any deep balls.

They kept comparing him to Sterling Sharpe last night and I think it is a good comparison. He runs good routes, has great hands and is a freaking horse to tackle. This time with Fitz out will build his relationship with Leinert even more.

If he stays healthy, he will be a top 10 WR for the next several years.

He's the first receiver I would take if I could add him to my team's roster in real life. It used to be TO with how good he was after the catch, but now it's Boldin without question.

Boldin is awesome, one of the bright spots on a pathetic team. He is one WR you can say really is good. It's not "the system." It's not the QB. It's him. It sure is embarrasing being a Cardinals fan, but I wear my Boldin jersey with pride.

No doubt he's the real deal. If AZ can solidify their O-line play they could be a fun offense to watch for years to come. Yikes ... can't believe I actually said that.

Boldin is one of my favorite players in the game, and always has been.

Guy is a true-to-life football player.

I've had his owner on the fence about dealing him for over a week. Last night's performance probably ends any shred of hope I had of acquiring him.

If he's going to get that many targets until Fitzgerald is back, there ain't nobody I'd rather be starting until then at WR. Bad team, playing lots of catchup most weeks, AND the QB is leaning on him. Sold.

Boldin has to be one of the 3 or 5 toughest WRs to bring down after the catch. He might be the toughest.
He looks like David Boston (particularly in a Cards uniform!)... only physique wise I mean! (not talent or bonehead wise)... he's huge / very tough to bring down...

With the OL and Edge not looking close to decent, ARI could become pass-first again.

Move over Coles. Tee Oh, Schmee Oh. Boldin's the best "after-the-catch" WR in the league.

With the running game looking so bad, I think Arizona may be pass first as well. I am actually considering starting Boldin and BJohnson at WR this week vs Oakland.

I had the #1 overall in a 12 man redraft. I almost went #2 fitz and on the turn, #3 boldin. I went with fitz gates though:cry:

He is one of the best WR in fantsay and he is also one of the best WR in the NFL this year. All he needed was a better QB, so they got Leinart and he is the main target since Fitzgerald is out.

Remember also that when FSU signed him, he was the best QB prospect in the country.
Yup. Even played QB against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.ACC = Conference of Champions
Capella, was he always this amazing in college? Why exactly did he drop to the 2nd round? I remember hearing something of a slow 40 time, but if Mike Williams went top 10, why not this guy?

In college he was ala Hines Ward, a guy that could play about anywhere on offense. They used him at WR and QB at FSU. The guy can flat out chuck the ball like 70 yards. Big arm.He was known for coming up with big plays in college but was not a polished WR. He did run a slow 40...I think well into the 4.6 area whereas Williams was more of a polished WR and ran 4.55. His game comes from major quicks and he plays faster than he times.Hard to believe that the Cards actually took Bryant Johnson in the 1st that year and Boldin in the 2nd. And then, Fitz the next year...actually paid off for them well. I guess that's kind of what Detroit had in mind. :loco:

Slow 40 time and major knee injury at FSU.

I watched him play HS ball. He was also a hell of a strong safety for Pahokee (on the shores of Lake Okeechobee). The kid could do anything he wanted.

Boldin was fast in college, but tore his ACL and didn't get his speed back right away. He was a stud his last year in college but he only ran a 4.7 at the combine. I think it was the injury history that scared teams off, something BMW didn't have.

So why has Boldin fallen off the face of the earth???
Nov 12 Boldin caught a season low two passes for 53 yards on Sunday.

Recommendation: Boldin was targeted seven times, half as many as he averaged in Arizona's previous three games. His output was hurt by the return of No. 2 receiver Larry Fitzgerald (right hamstring), who had missed Arizona's last three-and-a-half games. Boldin and company will be facing a weak Detroit secondary in Week 11, but the Cardinals' offense has been far from a juggernaut since Mike Kruczek took over as the team's offensive coordinator three games ago. Arizona is averaging just 11.0 points per game under Kruczek.
LinkFortunately, I haven't seen many Cards game this year, but I'm wondering if this has something to do with it?

Awesome. I just traded him for Deuce straight up. Deuce was doomed to eternity on my bench and I needed WR help since Plax and Santana Moss were injured.

Then I have McGahee go down with busted ribs and Boldin has fallen off the face of the Earth.

And Deuce scores twice in 12 touches last week. Just my luck.

New QB and new OC? Yeah, that definitely not a great situation.

Apparently, Boldin's value is pretty low. I was offered Boldin for Branch, and I jumped on it. New QB and OC problems are disconcerting, but Boldin's schedule is inviting, and I think his talent can overcome these obstacles with some improved playcalling.
