I'd think it helps a bit. Less pressure, more positive plays for opposing offenses means more opportunities for Pierce.

I don't think many people were counting on Pierce for big plays, the news overall is positive IMO.

i don't think it's only Pierce fault8 tkl for Pierce+Clark+Kehl.......2nd week in a row with few tackles for the Giants LB

maybe there's something about the "defensive scheme" this year

only 1 assisted tackle was awarded to the entire group of Giants IDPs in this game. Rams IDPs got 5 as a group. St. Louis statkeepers are definitely some of the stingiest when it comes to this stat.

Pierce still managed 3 solos with a sack. Not great, but certainly not a bad effort in most leagues. Rams RBs only had 14 rushing attempts in this game. 3 of the top 4 Giants tacklers played in the secondary
