Any AZ player vs. BALT..worth starting? (1 Viewer)

With AJ out, I have to play Fitz. I'm going to cover my wife's hair, face the Qibla, put my head down, stand erect, and recite Iqama.

Whatever it takes...

I'm in a PPR league and I'm going to start both Fitz and Boldin. I figure AZ is going to do nothing but pass and I'll get my points 1 at a time.

Week 1

Chad Johnson:....... 5-95-1 +2yds rushing

TJ Houshmandzadeh: 9-50-1

Week 2

Jerricho Cotchery: 7-165 (no TDs, but tackled at the 1)

Laveraneus Coles: 6-57

Justin McCariens: Dropped a sure TD

In my PPR league, the Ravens are currently 27th (6th worst) in giving up points to WRs. WRs can have success against the Ravens Defense.

Also Trevor Pryce is out, so there will likely not be quite as much push/disruption from the interior line, meaning teams can concentrate more on stopping T-Sizzle.

Nice, I have both Fitz and Boldin in separate leagues.....good to really see this breakdown and know the matchup is not all that bad. And they will have to pass to move the ball.

Thank you. I was wondering why all the trepidation for the Cardinals WRs. It is probably a bad week for Edge.

Tempted to roll the dice on Ronald Curry over Boldin in a ppr league (since Curry gets the CLE D that has given up 10 passing TD's in 2 weeks), but not feeling bad about Boldin and his chances at posting solid numbers.

I'm either benching Lee Evans or Boldin.

Leaning towards benching Evans, and Mungo's post makes it all but official. (thanks)

It's like he's postin' what I'm thinkin'! :lennyfromsimpsons:I have Boldin as my WR3/flex option and won't really have any qualms about starting him. I mean if Cotchery can abuse Samari Rolle-cover-his-way, Boldin should have no problem.

Edge I'd be a bit worried about, and I own Leinart and will not be starting him as I can see him for good for a few picks and/or a fumble.

Definately starting Curry this week.

Thinking B. Marshall over Boldin but it will be a last minute decision.

fixed (not still upset about it though  )

Yea, I don't understand all the talk about the Ravens this year. Their pass defense is ranked 16th in the NFL, so they can be had. As the poster said above, if Jericho Cothery can have 140+ yards against this defense, why can't Boldin or Fitz? I'd keep this guys in your lineups.

Looking at benching Leinart for Campbell (Yeah, my QB situation stinks). I'm watching NFL Replay (Cards/Hawks) and the Cards passing game looks pretty good. Baltimore can be passed on, I'm just not expecting a BIG game from Leinart.

Sounds like we all have the same options, I was thinking of benching Fitz for Cotchery or Curry. Stats say play Fitz
