Depending on how serious Dunn's injury turns out and how he progresses over the next few weeks, they may look at Dillon to help spell Norwood and add a veteran presence.
Aside from that, there don't appear to be any "leads" out there right now. Like saintfool said, if a starting RB gets hurt sometime in camp or the preseason and will be out any length of time, Dillon is likely the top candidate in the FA market right now.
He's since backtracked from that statement, cause I think he's realizing that won't happen. He mentioned a few weeks ago that he "liked the Dolphins", and he would undoubtedly be the backup there to Ronnie Brown. I think he'll sign with someone either in the preseason, or a few weeks into the year.
I think Dillon will absolutely play this year; he's made no overtures toward officially retiring and his agent has maintained that Dillon is in shape and willing to play for the right team. As others have said, I think this is about Dillon waiting to see which team has need of his services. Inevitably there are going to be a few teams, potential contenders especially, that are going to suffer a major RB injury and Dillon is going to look like a VERY good insurance plan and fill-in option.
From what I've seen/heard/read, it sounds like Dillon wants starter's money and most teams he's talked to are discussing low-end money from the minimum salary and a little bit above that. I believe he's summarily poo-pooed the notion of going through another season of abuse for low dollars.
I've checked into the likelihood of him returning to New England and that seems very unlikely at this point.
the way Indy plays though, the wear and tear on a RB is pretty minimal. i think their level of comfort with Addai is obvious, given the fact they let Rhodes walk....
Free agent running back Corey Dillon said during an interview last week that even though he has not formally announced his retirement, his playing days are over. "Now the window is closed, there is no doubt in my mind," Dillon said. "I haven't announced it publicly, but I will not play football again."

Situation reminds me of Ricky Watters a few years back, he didn't formally retire for a while because he was waiting for another opportunity, but he wanted too much money and it never came.
