Any consensus top IDP lists so far? Where is Suh being drafted? (1 Viewer)

There may be pre-draft rankings out there, but I wouldn't trust them.
Opportunity, scheme and surrounding cast are all-important to incoming IDPs and that won't be resolved until late April. Guys like Patrick Willis and Julius Peppers are probably going to hold value after they're drafted, but last year should serve as the standard for anyone thinking a pre-draft IDP rank list is a solid tool. Most would have ranked Curry and possibly Maualuga ahead of Laurinaitis before the draft. There were indications immediately after the draft (Spags pimping Laurinaitis as an every-down player, the Seahawks messing with Hill's tender offer then re-signing him at the same number shortly thereafter) that Laurinaitis was the clear IDP1 frontrunner. The fates of players like Robert Ayers and Everette Brown and Brian Orakpo could have easily been different.
I'll be posting a little more about the DTs and DEs early next week, but I think it's pretty unlikely that the collegiate sack numbers for Suh are going to translate to the NFL. I'm not sure he's clearly a 40 solo or a 5 sack player, which leaves him stuck in the depth tiers in most DL leagues. Whether he holds IDP2 overall value in DT-required leagues will depend on the role into which he's drafted and whether or not you think he can put up 4-6+ sacks consistently as well as where some of the other ILB prospects go (if you're in a standard league) or tweener prospects go (if you're in a big play league).
Also, I think there's an argument that Gerald McCoy deserves the fantasy DT1 slot. He's more of a penetrating player and has better overall pass rush skills. Assuming he lands in a scheme that will allow him to penetrate, his attributes arguably make him a more attractive box score bet.
