Any Javon Walker updates? (1 Viewer)

I am trying to decide where to put Walker in my draft rankings, right now I have him right around the Joe Horn area. But that assumes he will be healthy.

Does anyone know how Walker has looked, has he had any setbacks and does he take all the reps in practice.

Javon Walker didn't have one pass thrown his way against Tennessee, but that wasn't a big deal to him. It was Walker's first game since tearing his right ACL in Week 1 last season when he was with Green Bay. Walker said he had no physical issues against the Titans."It felt real good to get out there and play," Walker said

For anyone that didn't see the game, there had been a torrential downpour just before the game, so the field was slick. We didn't see where Walker really is regarding is playing status. I see it as a good sign that he was still playing in the 2nd quarter though.I've had two live drafts -- both keeper leagues. Accounting for keeper adjustments, he went at 4.09 in a 3-man keeper and was the 4th keeper in a 4-man keeper. So, 4th round in both leagues.Granted, those leagues have many Bronco homers in them.

5.05 in a 14 team re-draft

Not to me though... had to take Shockey w/ CJ and Moss already there.

4th round seems about right considering the potential risks w/ the knee. And Denver's WR avg. TD production.

considering him at 4.09 with guiys like mason, branch, housh.

i think a te or a 3rd rb might be the play and take walker if he is there in the 5th. if not, no biggie

Why would you take a ?? over a sure thing?? Don't let what MIGHT be get in the way of what is.. I rather take a guy like Houshmandzadeh over a guy coming back from injury..

I like JW, but not this year. It's going to take time for him and Plummer to develop chemistry, and right now Jake locks onto Rod Smith.

If/when Smith hangs it up or finally slows down, JW will be a nice #1 option in that offense. Of course, that will be probably be with Cutler, so who knows.

Mason will be a solid pick here! Don't rely on Walker in a new offensive system and coming back from the ACL. Honestly I would rather have B. Edwards.

From what I have seen they have it already. Javon isn't Lelie. He catches short slants and goes the distance. He's covered he sprints for the end zone and over powers defenders. Lelie couldn't do those things. He's more like Boldin than anyone.Plummer has to be less perfect with him. He'll be fine halfway through the season. By week 8 he will have healed 15 months.

Housh is a big ? to me. Chris Henry looks sensational so far and may push him for playing time...I have never been a Housh fan on any level including his days with CJ back at Oregon State. Housh is beig drafted like he is going to have a Reggie Wayne type year as 1B or a Peerless Price year ala 2002 opposite Moulds...I don't see it, I really don't.

:underbreath: Championship!TJ Houshermomma lead the league with the least amount of drops. I think he is great value in PPR leagues.

I've been kinda out of the loop with Chris Henry....is he a lock for the #3, or is he planning on gangbangin this season? :gang1:edit:

Henry back in the fold Published Wed Aug 23 9:07:00 a.m. ET 2006 (Rotoworld) Bengals WR Chris Henry (hamstring) returned to practice Tuesday.Impact: Henry missed a preseason game and multiple practices. His play in training camp was exceptional, so he probably has the inside track to be Cincinnati's third receiver, if he's not suspended

Henry should be WR3. He submitted his plea in his trial yesterday. So, this story should evolve.
