I mean, I could see being nervous if they were the favorites or something. They come into this playing with house money, its been a great run and the Pats are supposed to win.

But at the same time, they are on the doorstep of doing something very special and every time I put my head on the pillow, I pop back up thinking about this game. I just keep watching these clips over and over again:

As a Pats fan who was in your shoes just 6 years ago, NYNJ, I can't wish you that much luck, but I can say I know where you're coming from...the joy of sports.

On a side note, as a BC alumni I cannot help but root for Coughlin, the savior of the BC program in the early 90's, but again, not too much.

As a Giants fan I slept very well,visions of sugar plums dancing in my head,oh sorry,that was 2 months ago. Visions of a 13 point Giant victory dancing in my head. In fact,the dream was 37-24,go ahead Pats fans,tell me I AM dreaming,but I've only had this happen one other time,the night before The Bucs played The Raiders,the dream said Bucs would win big,so I bet the "margin of victory" and I'm still playing with house money. Well rested I now go to make my "margin of victory" bet on The Giants.

No, I've always been a Giant fan. You may have gotten that impression because I was critical of Belichek early in the season, but I didn't necessarily have a dog in that fight, but I don't hate the Jets, but I grew up a Giant fan. I've also been quite critical of Tiki, but I'm not alone in that assessment! I did finally get some sleep and I'm so pumped, I've got two pregames going and Mike and the Mad Dog on the radio!

Pretty cool interview with Robert Kraft this week. He was asked by a reporter if there was any specific player or coach that he was particularly happy for with regard to this SB. Obviously the reporter was expecting Junior, but Kraft responded with Tom Coughlin. They met when he was with BC, and Kraft had about 2 minutes of great things to say about him. Of course, he finished with something along the lines of 'not this year, of course...' Pretty cool of him I thought.

Good luck on the game and lets have a good one today boys! I just want both teams to bring their best and bring it to each other. As a fan you can't control the outcome, which makes the insomnia all the sillier, but if they both show up, thats the best you can do.
