Any resolutions/goals for 2017? (1 Viewer)

Mine are continuations of other years:

1.  Increase race distances.  More 10ks and 15ks this year.  Need to find more regular running routes.

2.  More strength training at the gym.

3.  Be outside more.

4.  Eat better (as always)

5.  Save more (as always)

6.  More  :pickle:

Complete a triathlon (olympic distance)

Read up/watch documentaries on history and geography

self education in the financial markets

get more involved with charity

Drop 20lbs and get toned

easy enough, right???

See the Trey Anastasio Band play at red rocks on 5/31.   I couldn't imagine a much better night than seeing them play at god's amphitheater while enjoying some of colorado's finest edibles.  Maybe throw in a little mountain biking.

Stop carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders.

Less pressure on myself for perfection work-wise. Though I wonder if I put less pressure on myself if my performance will suffer.

My goal is to eat more toasted pop tarts. I don't know that I've ever really given them a fair chance. I'm going to try to eat at least 50 before I consider going back to untoasted.

In 2017 I will see GnR play the Marlins Park as I won't step into the building and watch any more Marlins games for a while. I would like to see Loria go away finally.

In 2017 I will begin the foundation for what will be my main source of income for the next 10-20 years as I transition away from teaching. I've donated enough of my time and given back a lot to make up for some other stuff and also to see what my mother saw. She passed at 46, too young. I miss her but I got to walk in her shoes even if for a short time. I see you welling up in the back row, stop that.

In 2017 I will try to not be so self centered...see that should have been first so lot of work to do here.

You will always be a #1 seed as far as I'm concerned.

Gonna keep us guessing here guy?  Because we'll throw out some guesses, but I'm guessing that you won't like the guesses we guess.  Guess jeans?

Some advice for you all.

Along with your resolution post how you're going to achieve it. Most goals are not attained because there is no plan or reasonable achievement process.  Otherwise it's just a dream.

I'm giving up booze for the month of January.  I'm going to work hard on becoming a better father and husband.  I'm going to look to eliminate Diet Coke and coffee from my diet.  I'm going to do an open mic night at a comedy club, always been something I've wanted to do and I feel I have some good material so I just need to commit to practicing and doing it.
I haven't had a Diet Coke or coffee all year, not sure I've seen much improvement on the other items though.
