Interestingly, @Boston Fred only has 4:06 left on his clock while the @kardplayer has 13:16 left.  Maybe @kardplayer's strategy is to chat up the competition so they run out of time....  we shall see...

Lots of chat about the crazy rolls - both of us had luck scores > 5.  That might be because of the 15 point game, but I've also only seen a score that high 2 or 3 times before - never mind on both sides of the dice.

Went back and looked at the BG analysis.  Fred was 73% to win.  Math says should have taken it - oh well.

It was my first ever backgammon tournament. I've played single games but not in ages. I'm going to get smoked.

Backgammon Galaxy is a good place to play - they provide analysis you can look at to see what would have been mathematically better plays.
