I think this puts the light bulb over my head on the whole Murray/Shady/Eagles/Chip thing.
Chip Kelly simply does not want to be known as a team that can dominate opponents on the ground. Despite having two RBs in Shady and Murray and one of the biggest mismatch RBs in the league in Sproles at his disposal, he is absolutely hell bent on doing it his way and being this guy that grows the mystique of a team that stresses the defense all over the place, all the time, through the air.
Going back and watching some interviews with former players when Chip first brought the idea to college, they specifically say things that support this in that it's all about the perception of killing the opponent quickly on any given play and stressing the pass defense.
Maybe sometimes it IS as simple as the nose on our face. It simply doesn't matter that at the NFL level, most coaches that last play to the strength of their players. Chip is going to do it his way. I don't care if they score 50 points a game every game, I will not own another Chip Kelly RB. This mindset is going to break people's fantasy hearts.
