Anybody got a deep sleeping WR? (1 Viewer)

If I/we could only find a breakout player at WR (or RB for that matter) it could help. I happened to have lost Wayne so seeking feedback on WR;s some of you have your eye on.

Thanks.

Not what you leagues free agent pool looks like, I play in a pretty deep league. So pretty much anybody with a heartbeat is on roster. One player that made my Waiver list this week was Jets David Nelson

That's pretty deep. But he did have 7 targets with 4 catches.

how deep? brandon gibson MIA?

getting consistent targets last 3 weeks, 2 tds last week. pass happy offense against new england this week, if talib plays he will draw mike wallace, if not he might draw their 4th/5th best corner...

Nah, he is already an every week starter in my eyes even when Jones comes back. Rodgers loves him and he is gonna get Cobbs role. Plus Finley out, Boykin is a must start, plus he showed what he is capable of last week.

Kenny Britt.....if someone could wake him from his coma that'd be swell.

In all seriousness though, a new team could do this guy some good. And it definitely could happen.

For Deep Dynasty lgs Tavarres King CAR. Rookie that was the Broncos 5th Rnd pick from Georgia. Shortly after Cobb went down Packers tried to sign him off DEN practice squad. So Bronos signed him to the team to keep GB from getting him. Then when Von Miller was activated they released him and CAR was awarded him off Waivers. I think in CAR the depth chart at WR isnt too established. Must be something to this Kid. Id keep an eye on.

I like this one. And in all my leagues he's *still* on the wire, even those that are PPR.

It all depends on the size of your league, rosters, and starting lineup. The question should have been prefaced with that information.

I think KDurham, JKerley, MJones, KStills and RWoods would qualify in most leagues. Maybe CBeasley.

Chris Harper - WR GB, just got signed there after a failed attempt by SF to convert him to a different position. Really liked him coming out of college so here's to hoping he gets an opportunity in a depleted WR field in GB.

Marvin Jones and Kerley are already owned in any deep and truly competitive league.

Answers: Cole Beasley and Mike Brown. Beasley should be owned in every 12-team league with PPR. Brown is a threat to be the next Marvin Jones.

Just picked this guy up in my league (lost Cobb).

I currently have him starting in my flex spot :bag:

DaRick Rogers I doubt that Brazil is gonna be passed upon in deep Leagues.

I know/believe Brazil is probably the guy to have But heres a link for more info on Rogers http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1619142-darick-rogers-5-things-you-need-to-know-about-the-tennessee-tech-wr

I believe a somewhat relevant discussion for at least the next six days is speculating who may be traded ie. Josh Gordon It is reported that two teams have offered a player plus a high draft pick. It might be wise to remember that the Browns have Jasper Collins on their practice squad..

I just want to reiterate that responding to such a post is kinda difficult (or at least it can be) ie. Im not exactly sure how many std Leagues drafted and or rostered C. Patterson But the Vikings may be passing a lot, reps increasing, schedule isn't too bad. And Chicago's Marquess Wilson had a reception last week. (6ft4 track star) I would suspect some chemistry w/ McCown? Or http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_24356635/tavarres-king-ex-broncos-wide-receiver-claimed-by

Agree that the vikings may be passing a lot (which is ridiculous since AP should never touch the ball less than 25x a game), but it will be tough for any receiver shorter than Dwight Howard to haul those receptions in.

K. Stills
I keep telling myself a story where Graham is out for a couple of weeks, Ben Watson isn't much of a factor, Colston starts showing his age (less confident about this one), and Stiils steps up and wins enough targets to become a vital part of this offense.

Marvin jones
This. I was just talking to a Cincy homer who picked him up as a FA. Jones appears to have surpassed M. Sanu as the #2 WR (Sanu only got 2 targets last week against Det.) and has scored 15 and 19 pts in PPR leagues the past two weeks.
Any idea why Sanu is getting many more snaps than Jones? He got nearly double Jones' snaps last week.
Funny I was just coming here to talk about Marvin.

I posted about him last week; question is about the snaps, was going to look that up but this remidns me a little of the Cowboys situation, though Sanu doesn't have Austin's injury issues. But talent and success with what is given is a difference maker. I'm tentaively hoping to grab Marvin tonight, another week of this and we will be less gettable.

tbh I believe the game-plan was based on the GMen's recent woes on defending the pass. I was merely posting some players that I own and/or am watching. But I was implying it might be worth the time to consider SOS. However the Vikings may continue to see the box loaded until they can capitalize. (I could be wrong too)

imho nobiz has already answered the OP's question The only probable point missing was to suggest trade-offers for underperforming players ie. Colston/ White

p.s. Freeman suffering concussion like symptoms Ponder raking 1st team reps today
