As it stands, Fitzgerald hasn't been anything exciting. Now, this week, he gets to face Nnamdi. If there's ever a week to sit the guy, this might be it, considering your other options.
I think who you're benching him for is pretty important. Fitz has a much higher chance of catching a lob in the endzone than most any random bench guy you'd likely have. But a stay in the Asomugha Asylum is a scary prospect.
Good topic. I'm toying with benching Fitzgerald in a start 1 WR league (3 flexes rb/wr/te)... and playing santana moss (@STL)... just for this week... but still cant quite pull the trigger
That used to be what he was limited to, but this year they are apparently going to try to put him on no1 WR's more often. But those were stories I read before the season started: I have not followed if they actually went through with that. Though they havn't played against any team with a marquee WR yet either.
