Anyone benching Reggie Bush (1 Viewer)

I've benched Reggie for 3 weeks in a row now. For Fargas, K. Smith and K. Jones.

Now, with owners in a must win situation, I'm curious what Bush owners are doing? I'm currently benching him, but every site I see has him ranked in the top 10.

I like Fargas over him, even with a bad matchup because he gets the rock a lot...and Bush only seems like a must start in PPR leagues.

I'll probably start K. Smith and Fargas over Bush.

Who else is leaving Mr. Bush on the bench this week?

He's riding the pine on my team. Benching him for Torry Holt...

I think Bush has been the biggest bust of the year. He's been relatively injury free, he's on an offense that is putting up points, he just continually doesn't do much. I'm in a TD heavy league though...

Benched him last week for Chester Taylor.

I have a bye this week. But if Taylor continues to produce at all I might very well just go with ADP/Taylor as my two RBs for the rest of the year so I am guaranteed all rushing TDs on a team that produces a lot of them.

Debating benching him and starting Fargas as well, but doubt I'll do it. I will probably start Bush. I like Bush's matchup against the Falcons though. They have allowed the 9th most rushing yards this year while Green Bay has allowed only 4 rushing TDs all year (second only to Pittsburgh's 3). Atlanta is tied for 14th with 9TDs allowed. Middle of the road but a better matchup tan against GB, IMO.

PPR leagues he's still a top tier guy. Unfortunately, I own him in a standard league and he's been killing me. Kevin Jones has been my #3, and even he's become very risky.

If Fred Jackson gets the start again this week, I might have to plug him in instead of Bush.

I like the matchup for Bush better too, but it's hard to discount Fargas getting the ball 23 times a game rushing and another 3-4 catches. You KNOW the Raiders will run the ball all game, and Fargas will get the touches.Lately, Bush has been more of decoy in the redzone. I've seen a lot of 5 yd or shorter TD passes in the past 3 games. That's a major red flag to me. They are obviously comfortable (and successful) throwing the ball in the redzone.I am leaning more towards Fargas, he's producing and getting the rock a lot. Green Bay early in the year was outscoring a lot people and the opposing team then had to throw to catchup....so that may explain some of the rushing DEF. I remember K. Jones running very well on them on Thanksgiving day, and it was all about opportunity...which Fargas will have.

Just to add, I think you have to go with your gut too...and mine says Bush is a risky start. At this point we all need points and can't afford someone to put up mediocre point totals. Guys like Fargas, F. Jackson, and K. Smith, who are less talented backs maybe, but who's teams are dedicated to the running game may outproduce Bush based on more opps.

I have Parker and Bush (drafted them in the 1st and 2nd), and may be beching both of them this week. At least one will ride the pine.

Leaning towards putting Bush on the bench in favor of *gulp* Adrian Peterson II.

I can't afford another 12-15 touch game by Bush now that it's playoff time, when it seems likely that Peterson II will get 20+ touches per game against the Redskins.

Please talk me off the ledge of making this move as I know I'll then be forced to watch Bush's best game on the year on Monday night.

Another Bush-Fargas owner (.5ppr league). Benched Bush the last two weeks but will start him this week vs. ATL. I benched him more for health than production concerns.

If Fargas wasn't playing a top D, I'd maybe consider him, but Bush vs. Falcons, he should be good for his standard 12-15 points.

I just don't see enough upside in Fargas vs. Pack to risk starting him over Bush. Plus, Fargas' downside > than Bush vs. ATL.

Also consider:1. Bush is playing in a dome while Fargas has to play on a block of ice.2. Bush had 54 yards on 17 carries (3.2 ave) and another 19 yards and a TD through the air week 6 vs. ATL. Not great but decent.3. Westbrook 20/85, LT 22/62, ADP 12/112, Portis 20/64, S. Young 18/71, LJ 19/53/1, ADP 11/45 against GB. These were the top-end RBs.

Good points, and I'll use them all in considering this decision. What are you expecting from Bush this week vs Fargas (since you and I have to make that decision)I like Bush for 15 carries 65 yds 6 catches for 48 yds 0 TD = 10 ptsFargas 24 carries for 102 yds 3 catches for 25 yds 0 TD = 16 pts (we get 4 pt bonus for 100 yds)

Bush will be benched this week so that Dayne can hopefully carry me to a first week playoff win.

I should have made that same move last week.

Right now I have ADP/Bush/MJD in my starting lineup.

I'm debating starting Chester Taylor or Kolby Smith over Bush, but it's a PPR league.

I can start 2 RB and a flex. I just don't know what I'm doing this week.

He was my 2nd round pick and as much as he's stunk I can't bench him on Monday night against a sorry Falcons team. Have a tough decision right now getting 2 out of Bush, Peterson CHI, Jacobs, and Taylor but think Bush id one I'll roll with.

I'm benching him for Kolby Smith in a 1 PPR league. Smith's matchup is juicy enough that I think at worst it evens out. Reggie looked like he got hurt AGAIN at the end of the Bucs' game Sunday - the last 2 weeks he just hasn't had the receptions to give him his 'real' value in PPR.

I agree the matchup is stellar and I won't sit him. Plus I'm in a PPR league which helps too.

It depends on your options, but this is NOT the week I would bench him as he is going against Atlanta. I have Kolby Smith and I am playing Bush

I guess it depends on your scoring system. My league is TD heavy and awrdfs less for yards 1pt/20yds. I think Bush has a better shot at a TD than Fargas. Also, Bush is my keeper and supposed "stud". If I lose with Bush on my bench I'd never hear the end of it from my leaguemates

I'm benching him for ADP and Grant in a .5 PPR League. ADP is a no brainer and I like Grant better vs the weak Raider D. It was a tough decision though, as ATL is a nice matchup for Bush also.....
