Anyone draft LT, TO & Moss at the 1 and 2/3 split? (1 Viewer)

I still can't believe I chose C.Johnson & Harrison over those two (at least TO). I'm just looking at the points those two are putting up and curious to see the records of those who drafted that 3-some....

I have those three and Brady and will be 9-2 soon

I'm almost embarrased to say this because I have historically been one of the worst teams in my dynasty leagues, but have been rebuilding...

This year my starting team is/was...10 team dynasty. 11-0 after this week.

QB - Brady, Roethlisberger, Russell

RB - A. Peterson (MN), C. Taylor, R. Brown, J. Chatman, M. Lynch, D. Williams

WR - Moss, Holt, Hackett, Walker, Cotchery

TE - Winslow, H. Miller, Scheffler

K - Gostkowski

D/ST - Chicago/Dallas

Will all be for nothing if I don't win the Superbowl...

I went LT, S. Smith :hot: , and Wayne in my redraft. TO was taken before the 2/3 turn. I think Randy went in round 4.

I did even better. In my start-up dynasty league, I have WESTBROOK, Moss, and Owens (Westy has outscored Tomlinson by a significant margin despite appearing in one fewer football game). I'm actually only 6-4 (soon to be 7-4, unless Tennessee's defense outscores Selvin Young by about 46 points), mostly because of a slow start, but I've now put up the top score in two of the last three weeks (I had the second-best score in the third) and look to be rolling my way into the playoffs.

I'm sitting pretty in one league with LT/Portis at RB and Moss, TO, Wayne at WR after a few trades.:flex:

Moss, TO and Wayne? That's sick

League's been around since 'aught zero. My last 3 weeks have been the 3 highest scoring weeks in the history of the league. Sadly, there's no playoffs in this league and a combination of bad luck and another damn good team has me sitting in a spot where i'm going to have to be content with league scoring records. My IDP of Ryans, Willis, Tatupu, Winfield, Cromarte (had phillips until 3 weeks ago) is killing it too. Shockey at TE, Hass at QB...sad times.

No. In a 14 team PPR I drafted LT2 then Benson at 2-14, Gates at 3-1, Tater Bell at 4-14 and DeShaun Foster at 5-1. I thought I was the king with four starting RBs.

Guess who went 5-2? Right after I had the chance to pick him but picked TATUM BELL AND DESHAUN FOSTER instead? In a 14 team PPR?

Randy Moss.

Even my two friends who were also in the draft and on messenger at the time of my swing picks were like "Well, you dont have a WR yet maybe you should take a chance on Moss."

Thankfully things are alright and I'm second, one game out of first, with an 8-3 record and hoping to hang on as the top 2 teams get a first round bye week 14. I went 5-0 to start the year against easy teams then traded LT2 and Brandon Marshall for Owens, Reggie Bush and Lee Evans. Should I somehow win this thing I will have won it with Jay Cutler and JP Losman as my QBs.

I passed up on TO and ended up with Colston instead. But to be honest, I don't feel too badly about that decision. I thought Owens was a guy toward the end of his career, injury-prone for a WR and with a relatively unknown quantity at QB. I was willing to pass on him and go with a young guy in a pass-happy offense that seemed headed for another playoff run. Colston has been coming on lately, so he's not terrible, but he's not TO either. While that was the wrong move, I made a logical decision and can live with being wrong.

But Moss I never saw coming. I passed on him a few times, and would have passed on him some more if he had kept falling to me. Kudos to whoever took a chance on him.

In a 14-teamer, after LT I wanted T.O., but he went right before my two picks. Got Wayne and Boldin instead. Moss went late in the 3rd after that. Then took Jordan, who won me a few early, and Lewis, who will hopefully carry the load through the playoffs. Romo in the 6th is what has really put me over the top (not to mention Cooley at 7). Welker at 13 has made Boldin's injury seem unimportant.

In my 12-teamer, I picked 5th and had L.J. fall to me. Then took T.O. and Steve Smith. THEN got Peterson and Moss. I have never won the big one in this league, but I have been breaking records all year. Even without L.J. and All Day, I picked up another high score this week. Have been rotating Kitna & Big Ben, who I got late.

In my keeper league, I have LT and LJ at running back. My WRs are Wayne, Smith, and Boldin. I have Brees at QB, Heap at TE, and even have the Ravens D. Boo-yah!

(Oh wait, sorry, I thought this was the thread for teams that looked unstoppable before the season. You guys are talking about right now. Sorry.)

I am 9-2 as well, because 2 weeks I played 2 guys who put up their best weeks. In sportsline the breakdown has me at 19-3 against them all weeks, but somehow I am 0-2 against them. Sometimes you get some bad luck in H2H.I have Brady, Romo (starts at Flex), TO (traded AJ for him in week 3 in a keeper format, AJ could be kept), Braylon, Colston, Bush and FWP as my starters. My backups are Derek Anderson, Chatman, C. Taylor (started him over FWP this week :) ), Roy Williams, and Cotchery. This week was the highest week I ever remember anyone scoring.Average teams in my league (PPR) score about 100 or so and I am averaging 150 and have about 25+ ppg lead over the next best team (has Westbrook). I can't remember a team as dominant as mine in my league in a long time, especially with bench depth (had the league's high score last week on Brady's bye), but due to the schedule, I do have 2 losses.

I had #1 and thought I would be stuck with Moss for my next pick. I was very happy both Moss & TO went before I picked again. I took Fitz & Roy Williams and bragged about it. I am 3rd best team but the guy taking Brady 1st round and Moss in the 2nd (boy is he an idiot!!!) is 250 points ahead of me and in my division. I won't even make the championship much less win.
