Anyone else have an irregular heart beat? (1 Viewer)

So lately (like in the last couple of months), I'd go to bed and my heart starts beating faster. Not, "Oh hell, I'm having a heart attack" fast. But enough where it is noticeable and prevents me from being able to go to sleep. It's done it three times now in two months. So I went to a doctor who didn't think much of it when I described it (mainly because it wasn't daily or more frequent), but had a heart monitor issued. I did that for a day and naturally nothing much was found. He did note a few PVCs but again, wasn't overly concerned. Just said to monitor it and if it gets worse to let him know. Well, I can't seem to sleep on my left side or my heart starts racing.

Anyone else having this kind of issue?

Very strange that it's positional like that. So, on your right side there's no problem but on your left there is?

If that's truly the case, I'd make sure your doctor is aware of that. That's not an irregular heart beat. I'd be more concerned that there is something causing some kind of compression of blood return and your heart correctly compensates for that decreased return.

I don't mind ####### around with a finger, cause that will grow back, but your heart? I'd see a cardiologist stat, they just won't grow back.

I've had a-fib for 22 years. I take Tambocor and aspirin daily. As long as your heart rhythm is regular (sinus), I don't think you have anything to worry about.
