Anyone else have trouble getting Rotoworld to load? (1 Viewer)

chook

Footballguy
I would write in to them to ask but I can't load the site up to find the contact details.

Every time I've gone to the rotoworld website for the past few weeks, all I get is the MSNBC banner up the top and a banner advertisement difrectly below, but that's it.

Every other site I use on the innerwebs is fine - just them giving me pains on the odd occasion I go to have a look over there.

Anyone else having/had similar dramas?

Is this an Australian only problem? ;)

I've been having the same issues for the past couple of months.

http://www.rotoworld.com/content/Home_NFL.aspx

This is what I get when it should look like this.

I can only get the full page to load about once in 100 refreshs.

I've been told that the error is as follows which means nothing to me.

Code:
Error: currentfr is nullSource File: [URL="http://www.rotoworld.com/content/Home_NFL.aspxLine:"]http://www.rotoworld.com/content/Home_NFL.aspxLine:[/URL] 155
I tried it in FF3, IE6&7, Opera9 and Safari, and they all had problems with the page.

It's a conspiracy! The yanks must be tired of us taking their fantasy league titles offshore. Hopefully a few other Aussies can chime in if they're having problems too. Weeeeird.

If you disable Javascript it's possible to get the front page to load everytime.

Firefox - Tools > Options > Content > Enable Javascript (untick that box)

However, you're then unable to click through the following pages (more player news link down the bottom), so you have to enable it again.

Mark me down as another Aussie unable to access Rotoworld. Seeing as I'm a tolerant sort of guy I've just scrapped the idea of ever visiting or using Rotoworld. The management of said site can kiss my ####.

Have any of you guys (Aussies) found any big $$$ leagues that we are eligible to play in? Most of them come with the following terms & conditions....

The Contests are open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, Washington, D.C. and CanadaResidents of all other excluded areas may play, but will not be eligible to receive any prizes.

Whats wrong with this one, they will let you pay the dues and participate in the league, they just wont send you any money you win.

I entered one in under an a mate's name/address in the states once, but haven't even thought about it since - too much effort.

Hey guys,

I'm a little late to the thread, but I'll forward this issue to Gregg and let him know there appears to be a problem on our side with the Australian audience.

Thanks,

F&L

Thanks. I don't know if he got your message, but it seems to be working a lot better for me today. :touchwood:
Thanks Chris. It does seem to be working better at the moment, so fingers crossed.
