I am benching Driver for much the same reason and if I had Rogers I would do the same.I am considering not starting Aaron Rogers this week versus the stiff Titans defense. My backup is Marc Bulger and the Rams will play the Cardinals.Anyone else consider benching Rogers?
Agreed...but keep in mind that Rodgers was NOT drafted as a stud QB. Most folks owning him will have at LEAST another top ten QB, and more then a few will have a top five.I've got two leagues where Rodgers is paired with Cutler, and a third with Schaub. As good as Rodgers has been, he's not exactly NOT a gimme over Cutler to begin with...and certainly not this week.Tennessee has a good Defense for sure and they should be respected, but come on.
Manning had 3 TD's last week against them [2 Passing and 1 Rushing]. Depending on league scoring rules he scored between 20 - 30 pts. Rodgers is outscoring Peyton by nearly 4 points a game and is in the Top 5 QB's.
Why would you sit him unless you have another QB in the Top 5?
Repeat after me, ALWAYS START YOUR STUDS!
Also starting Bulger over Rodgers. Yes Manning scored some points last week vs Tenn but it was not easy. I can't see Rodgers having a huge game but Bulger vs the Cards should have a higher ceiling than Rodgers.I am considering not starting Aaron Rogers this week versus the stiff Titans defense. Have these two options as well. I have Shaub in there right now, but am feeling very indecisive about it.Going with Rodgers, my alternative is Schaub at Minnesota. Seems like the right move
I have the same situation and am sticking with Schaub for now.Rushmore said:Have these two options as well. I have Shaub in there right now, but am feeling very indecisive about it.aquateen said:Going with Rodgers, my alternative is Schaub at Minnesota. Seems like the right move
+1, and am not feeling indecisive. Pretty sure I will stick with Schaub this weekend.I have the same situation and am sticking with Schaub for now.Rushmore said:Have these two options as well. These are my two, but I'm sticking with Rodgers. Last time I sat him, he put up 25 fpts while my starter, Trent Edwards got concussed on the first drive.I'm not doubting Rodgers again unless he gives me a solid reason to.Would starting Ryan over Rodgers be crazy?
Also giving Garrard the nod. Titans D will be too much for a young QB.Rounders said:I'm rolling with Garrard against Cincy in place of Rodgers
I have the other side of that game and, yeah, Warner starts over Rodgers for me.In the other league I own Rodgers, I briefly considered Ryan over him, but I'll go with Rodgers. The Titans have scary pass defense stats, so I wouldn't fault anyone sitting their QB not named Brees against them.benny said:I am considering not starting Aaron Rogers this week versus the stiff Titans defense. I am a Vikings fan, and I would be starting Schaub over Rodgers if I had Schaub. I am starting Rodgers over Bulger, I'm thinking Rodgers will be airing it out all game...+1, and am not feeling indecisive. Me too. Knock on wood, I've been doing ok playing the match-ups between them.....been riding the Rodgers bus for a while now...but this week vs Tenn I'm going to roll with McNabb...
I'm starting Favre over Rodgers this weekOk I am repeating. ALWAYS START YOUR STUDS!
oh and I am starting him because he has not let me down so far and my back up is favre.
Look up how he did against Indy, TB, and Minn....I will save you the trouble..under 200 passing yards in all 3..Rodgers is not a stud in my bookTennessee has a good Defense for sure and they should be respected, but come on.Manning had 3 TD's last week against them [2 Passing and 1 Rushing]. SameSitting Rodgers and Driver. Starting Eli instead.
I wouldn't be scared of starting Rodgers if I was lacking in options, but Orton is playing great and the Lions make starting him irresistible for me. In the 5 weeks prior to their byes, Orton actually outscored Rodgers (by 2 pts) in my league.I am starting Orton over him in multiple leagues. Perhaps not a good idea, but seems worth the risk with as much as the Bears have been throwing the ball and considering their competition.
I am contemplating the same thing.you guys with borderline top 10 qb's anyway I understand....but some of us have a REAL tough decision ....mine is Gus Frerotte vs. Houston or Rodgers.... Minnesotta offense has been doing better under Frerotte so I am seriously considering it....still undecided though.

Substitute Rivers for Cutler and I'm there. And in the same place on wishing I could get something, but happy that they're not scoring for others.I am not starting Rogers but i haven't been starting him much all year. I have 3 Stud QB's that I picked up in rounds 8, 11, and 13. With Rogers, Cutler and Garrard. I have been playing Cutler most of the year. I wish I could trade one of them away but I guess if no one wants one of these QB's then I guess I will keep them from scoring for my competitors.
