Anyone worried about Daryl Richardson? (1 Viewer)

Im not worried about Richardson. Pead did nothing today to take his job. :o
5 ypc plus 7 recs
Bloom wasn't very impressed, but Pead is definitely worth a WW claim/ bid, particularly in PPR leagues
6 carries for 20 yards is 5 ypc???? and 6 yards per reception is nothing special since Richardson has averaged 7.8 per reception in his 2 starts. I stand by what I said. Pead was unimpressive.

I haven't seen anything which suggests that Pead doesn't suck. However, the pool at the RB position is very thin, and Pead looks like he might be starting this week. Therefore, he's worth a WW claim/ bid.

Really disappointed in DRich, as I thought he'd be a solid RB2. This injury was enough for me to drop him in my short bench league for Powell after news of the Ivory injury.

Why would you drop Richardson? He got hurt, it happens. His backups did nothing, which further solidifies his spot.

He's in a bad division for a RB, I'll grant you that, but I'd at least let him have one good game and trade him.

I dont disagree with that part. And every time a player gets to play its a CHANCE to prove yourself. Just saying he failed that test this week.

He is a solid RB2 in a 12-team PPR
Not if he's hurt. I'm also managing D Wilson in a short bench league and may be 0-3 after this week. Powell was on waivers and with the Ivory injury and Powell looking good (ppr) I think Powell > DRich unfortunately :( I was as high on DRich as anyone and think, when healthy, he's solid, but if he's got a foot injury it could hurt his main asset -- speed, he's not a bruiser.

See above, short benches and a better RB on waivers. This league is very inactive in terms of trades.

Daryl Richardson (foot) said he'll be "good to go" for Thursday night's Week 4 game against the 49ers.
Richardson played just two snaps in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys before spending the rest of the day on the sideline. He had his foot stepped on by George Selvie. "I'm good to go for Thursday," Richardson said. "It's a little [frustrating] but you have got to just keep praying and treating it because when it's time to go, you've got to be ready to go." Richardson will be nothing more than a flex option. Isaiah Pead and Benny Cunningham will also get reps.

Wouldn't it be funny if come Sunday Richardson gets the start? Then Fisher gives the "Richardson gives us the best chance to win" speech.

I thought about this as well. Maybe trying to motivate Rich to get going before a pink slip is filled out.

I doubt it. I realize their o line is bad, but did Richardson break a single tackle against the 49ers?

Just dropped Richardson and picked up Zac Stacy based on some rumors...hope they ring true
what are the rumors and can we expect Stacy to produce at a rb2 level?
No idea if he will be a RB 2 ...but hes worth a shot...if he goes off any time soon it will be too late...all i know is Richardson aint done squat.

“I think Zac’s done a really good job since he’s been here,” quarterbackSam Bradford said. “He’s a very talented runner. He’s a powerful guy. He’s got great vision. He makes cuts in the hole that are quick and decisive, so I’m excited to see him out there.”

“Right now we don’t know who is starting for sure,” Stacy said. “The only thing I’m doing is just preparing my butt off for the week. Hopefully the decision will be made later in the week. All the backs, we all prepare the same, we all get the same amount of situations in practice. We’ll all be ready.”
