It took nearly the full two weeks to tell us to remove the logos and the letters NFL from a keyword search.We then resubmitted in a day and it took about a week (We had to start over with a new case number, etc), but maybe they keep a file based on the company / title. We knew the logos was a gray area (I believe case law is on our side that as long as logos are used for news purposes they are fair game...much like an article about Coke and showing a Coke logo, but we opted not to fight Apple about and just took them off it). We were shocked we could not use NFL as a search term as our app is all about that. Oh well. All in all not too painful of an experience.

I am like a kid on Christmas morning. I have been playing with this app for the last month (the unapproved testing version), but it is awesome that everyone else can use it now. We still have a lot of improvements planned. We just had to stop the massive design changes and get a baseline product to market. But that said, I think it's the hands down best fantasy football app by a mile (and I know as I have downloaded all the others).

functionally it's the same. It looks prettier in the iPhone is all.

The app works with 3.1.3 and obviously later, but not 3.1.2. I was putting off another jailbreak after update, but this makes it worth it. Nice job!

Love that you released this app! That said the rankings section is pretty hokey IMHO. Why not just emulate the functionality currently on the website? Seems strange you guys decided to take a totally different approach to viewing the rankings.

The iphone app is a lot nicer looking, but it is basically the same content.

One question I had - when going to the http://footballguys.com/m address, there is an entry for 2010 projections, but where do you go to get those on the Iphone version? I saw the player rankings tab, but no 2010 projections tab.

This is awesome. As Dodds said about, the player page info is amazing. If I want to know how many rushing yards Thomas Jones had in week 4 in 2007, it's a click away -- much faster than it would be to look online -- and I get full text about his performance, too. I also like that I can just search for "Th Jon" and Jones will come up.

I have the pocket schedule (thanks SJ!) but it's also cool having the schedule on the app. Great idea.

I also love having Joe's e-mail updates on there. On both my iPhone and my blackberry, the full e-mail update is never shown (which is really annoying, although obviously not the fault of FBG -- whenever there's a long message it's truncated by all mobile phones). But now I don't have to actually read the e-mail update, I can just check the newsletter updates in the App and it's all there.

This thing is awesome.

Our plan is to try and release almost everything we do to both the web and to mobile. Insider content will be there too (material released after July 15th), but will require a subscription.
