Saw this on Rotoworld today:
Obviously Washington stays as a starter. But who else would have a chance? I know it mentions Schofield but he has been unspectacular with a total of 9 tackles in 8 games so far this season.Does Paris Lenon stick as the other inside starter?I know there was some preseason fluff about Reggie Walker but the guy hardly sniffed the field this year and has the same amount of tackles as Schofield does in 1 more game. Here is the depth chart according to RW:ILB 1. Daryl Washington - 66 tkls, 1 sack, 1 int 2. Paris Lenon - 112 tkls, 2 sacks, 2 ints 3. Reggie Walker - see above 4. Gerald Hayes - 33 tkls (gone in 2011?) OLB 1. Joey Porter - 50 tkls, 5 sacks (gone in 2011?) 2. Clark Haggans - 41 tkls, 4 sacks (gone in 2011?) 3. O'Brien Schofield - see above 4. Cyril Obiozor - 5 tkls 5. Curtis Gatewood (recently activated from PS) Is there any gold to be plundered in this steaming pile of poo?The Arizona Republic's Kent Somers thinks it's unlikely that veterans LBs Joey Porter, Clark Haggans and Gerald Hayes will be back with the Cardinals in 2011.Porter has declined this season and his salary jumps from $1.25 million to $5.75 million. Hayes is no longer a starter and is due $4.25 million. Haggans might have the best shot to return since he'll be due just $2.5 million, but Somers thinks the Cards might balk at paying him a $500,000 roster bonus. Arizona figures to get younger at the position, which means more of an opportunity for Daryl Washington and O'Brien Schofield, et al.
