Article/Feature/DD- FBG software/app request (1 Viewer)

Was thinking about this the other day while running some mocks. The different sites that I use to mock all have largely different rankings. Some have Mathews ranked as the 9 back (yahoo) and some have him in the late teens-mid 20's. It greatly affected where these players were going in the draft. This was ESPECIALLY true in the mid rounds. I think a lot of people get lost in the mid rounds, and often defer to the rankings of the site you are using. Surely there has to be a way of plugging in the draftsite rankings with the DD/some app so that you can see the picks that are overrated and and underrated vs adp. Would help u better predict runs, and u'd know when to take certain sleepers, or when to let em lie b/c they wont even hit the shown portion of the position screen, let alone the top 20 available players.

I'm sure my idea will be improved by the smart minds here (in the sp be;lieve it or not) and at FBG's, but I think I am onto something good here...

Agreed - this is important enough to consider having an app that downloads the most recent results of real drafts at MFL on a daily basis. I cannot use the draft tool here because it doesn't represent what I see closely enough at MFL.

It would also be important to be able to easily tweak those results with what one may know of their respective leagues - typically drafting QBs early, heavy into RBs, TE runs, etc. I do this manually and it is very time consuming but works well.

I would hope too that MFL build more customization into their options to pull the data - the scoring options of ppr vs. non is pretty broad and could easily be split into at least a few more categories. Clearly if you wanted to get too specific your results wouldn't provide enough of a sample. But there is a lot of room from where they are currently. Within PPR there are a wide number of options - some kind of split point per catch, pts per position for catches or per "x" receptions - makes for big differences in value and draft approaches within leagues. How about QB 6pts - or big Def pts? A selection of a few more "bid" scoring option differences to derive results would be invaluable.

I am happy to get what I can get, so no complaints here - but as DB tools get more and more common, this stuff just makes sense.
