Article - Why We Should Stop Calling Adult Women "Girls"' - Thoughts? (1 Viewer)

So is it ok for a woman bartender to call her customers "baby"?  Cause my wife always  gets upset, but to me no big deal.
Here in the South, I always hear various workers addressing customers as honey, sugar, sweetie, etc. Here is an article that was written in Our State (North Carolina based) Magazine about Southern sweet talk.

I like it..might start using "buttercup"  That can`t be offensive.

Now some professor wants people to say "people who ride bikes" instead of "cyclist" because the latter is "dehumanizing". 🤣

It's really no wonder that this generation of youth are growing up anti-social.

I still think simply not speaking to people is gonna be my sure-fire winning go-to.
Then someone will be offended you didn't answer them when they were talking to you
