Ask an early 20s black gay guy anything (1 Viewer)

Do you find that white people constantly try to tell you that they love RuPaul?

Follow up: if so, is that offensive?

Are you one of those stereotypical fun flamboyant gays, or the boring just like one of the dudes type?

No questions, but best of luck you, ######.

Jeez, ###### is filtered? I had no idea.

First of all I'd like to say hi to everyone as this is my first post, though I've been lingering here for about 6 months and I decided to finally create an account. I'm 17 years old and I'm gonna be senior in high school. I'm 6'3.5 about 315 pounds and play guard on the o-line at my high school (I'm tryna get coach to move me to tackle though). Anyways, last year was my first year on varsity and I did good, I even made 2nd team all District, this comming year I plan to make first team. The thing is everyone is expecting me to get a D-1 scholarship to go and play ball somewhere. See, my school is nicknamed 'o-line high' because each of the last three years, an offensive linemen has signed D-1 scholarships to big 12 schools. I'm the one that's next in line, but I have a problem, I'm not passionate about football like those other guys, after high school, I wanna be done with football forever. My dad started making me play football when I was six, and I completely and utterly hated it up until 8th grade when I actually started to enjoy it, but not enough to want to play it college. I didn't really think I was that good, but after our long playoff run (quater-finals, 4th round, 6 in our division), I've had about 10 different scouts from schools all around the country pull me out of class and give me questionares to fill out and they all have been D-1, and they always send me stuff in the mail. For anyone else, this would be a dream come true, but for me its a nightmare, I don't konw what to do. And my father is so pround, every time he's talking to someone else, he always has to mention how great of a football player his son is and and how he's one of the most sought after o-linemen in the country. It kinda pisses me off how he always has to bring it up, but I guess that's with every father who's pround of their athletic son. I've gone to 3 camps this summer and I still have another to go to, all thanks to my father. I know this is wierd, but I don't even like football that much, its just good fun you can have with your friends, plus its good exercise cuz I plan on loosing 75-100 pounds before college cuz it's kind of pointless to be this huge and muscluar if I'm not gonna do anything. So, does anyone have any advice for my situation, that is someone who doesn't want to upset their pround father by not playing college football? O and btw, this is probably needless to say but my mom doesn't give a crap lol. Thanks.

Sam Smith....would you?
Nah.

Are you fabulous?
I don't think so.

Are you one of those stereotypical fun flamboyant gays, or the boring just like one of the dudes type?
I'm not flamboyant.

Are you a Bears fan? If so, do you have any dignity left?
I'm an Eagles fan.

How do you feel about FSU being ranked #4 by the CFP committee?
I'm indifferent.

Do you know how to swim?
Nope.

A little, I also got taller so I look slimmer now.

I still want to be smaller, however.

Okay, serious question. How long did it take you to come out? How old were you when it happened? How did your parents, other family, friends, classmates, teammates, co-workers, and others handle it? How long has it been since you came out, and has it made permanently damaged any relationships? Made any closer?

I'm just glad you here. So far as I know, you're the only confessed gay man in this forum. (There are a couple of lesbians who post here, but if there are other gay men, I'm not aware of it.)

Since not a ton of blacks post here either, I'm curious to know how you feel about the Ferguson matter.

I would tell them to do what they wanted. It's your life, not your father's.

Okay, serious question. How long did it take you to come out? How old were you when it happened? How did your parents, other family, friends, classmates, teammates, co-workers, and others handle it? I'm not "out" to a lot of people, only a couple of friends. They were supportive. My parents do not know. I told my 2 closest friends I was gay about 4 years ago.

Do you own Antonio Gates in any leagues?
No I don't. Why?

Would you rather make love to Jennifer Love Hewitt or be stuck in an elevator for 12 hours with timschochet?

Do you think heterosexual intercourse is gross?
Not really, however I find female genitals gross.

I'm just glad you here. So far as I know, you're the only confessed gay man in this forum. (There are a couple of lesbians who post here, but if there are other gay men, I'm not aware of it.)

It's a sad situation, I feel sorry for Mike Brown's family and friends.

What matters more, the size of the boat or the motion of the ocean?
Ummm....not sure how to answer this lol.

Follow up: if so, is that offensive?
Bump?
I've never experienced this.
Wow.That's like never watching Friends.
:lmao: Friends is garbage.
