I grew up in NJ and we CONSTANTLY used terms like "homo" to deride someone for being a wimp or "fag out" to describe someone backing out of something. I try not to do this anymore. When you hear someone say something like this, does it anger you to the point of wanting to suffocate them with your mantits, does it deeply sadden you, or do you take it in the spirit in which it was intended and let it roll off your back?
