Assani's Poker Thread (1 Viewer)

Thanks guys! Pulled out a meh table draw for tomorrow. I haven't really updated my twitter with many exciting things, usually chip counts but if you want to add me, it's r0llingame. I'll add people's request tomorrow probably when I wake up or when I'm seated.

Really didn't flop too many hands yesterday. Saw a lot of pairs, only flopped one set and didn't get any value. Won a nice one early with AA, had KK three times, one flopped an A, but I turned a K and got a fold, and won a decent one early with QQ where I flatted an online pro's open, and an old guy's 3 bet behind me. He ended up having TT so me playing passively I think rewarded me some extra chips.

Called down the Brazilian button clicker (BBC) with 22 on the river on a board of AJ3J8 and was correct. Played a really absurd hand opening 84cc where an older spazzy guy check raised me big on the flop of T85ccx, cbet a 5 turn, checked a T river and had 76o. That was a nice one.

Had 88 > 66 when I opened to 900 at 200/400-50ante got two calls while I was talking to the online pro where 66 guy jams 11.8k.

Bluffed some off with 7d5x on a K32ddx9d4x where guy had 99. Owned him 20 min later with A4 on an A6585 board.

Last hand was BBC limps for 400 one behind button, button limps, I complete A9cc, bb checks. Flop AJ6cxx I lead 850, bb fold, BBC calls, button calls, turn Jc, I check, BBC bets 2325, button folds, I call, river 2x, I check call 2900 he has 66. Right after he flips the hand over, he ask if I had an A or a J. Death was wished upon him lol.

Assani taking a beating the last couple rounds but still alive/

@AssaniFisher: other than that hand, just folded a lot. Finished with 18,125- pretty disappointing, but at least I'm still alive #WSOPME

Hey, look at it this way... You've lost way more money way faster than this before

Flatting with JJ in the SB? I'll be intrigued to hear about this one.

Latest update:

Assani Fisher@AssaniFisher29m
Tilting level 4. Made a tight fold pre that turned out to be incorrect and a few other frustrating hands. At 35,175, one level left tonight
Not really that interesting of a hand....we were 300 BBs deep(30K at 50/100) and there were no antes....3betting marginal value hands OOP when 300 BBs deep when theres no history whatsoever between me and the opponent is just not going to work out well for me. Early in a tournament like this my 3betting ranges are going to be a lot more polarized(a little while later button opens to 250 and I raise from SB to 775 with A4s and he folds) and also more heavily weight towards bluffs.

I called 2.5BBs pre, 3.5 on flop, 8.5 on turn, and river was checked behind on a runout of low cards with a flopped flush draw that got there on river.

Can't seem to find him on the WSOP website -- anyone know how to find him in th current chip count leader board? Curious to see where he stacks up among others.

I also couldn't find him on there, been trying to find what the average chip count is for the remaining players but haven't found that either.

Anyone have any luck finding him on the leaderboard anywhere? I can't find his chip count for any prior days let alone the current chip count.

It doesn't look like they have updated the official chip counts yet. What is showing under Day 3 chip counts looks like the unofficial day 2B counts, which does not include everybody. I suspect the official counts will be updated later this morning. It takes time for them to go through all the bags.

Yesterday was kinda frustrating- Had a great table, got some hands too, and if I do say so myself I'm playing as good as all but ~200 people in the world are capable of playing. But I'm still below average. The AA vs QQ all in on 28Tr was a dagger.

Use pokernews for the most up to date updates, but until we get deeper you're not going to see non-big name pros be tracked among the chip counts unless they have a big stack or have gained public attention for some reason.

Kevin Mathers is the best guy to follow on twitter for updates on stuff like table draws and information.

Nothing you can do about losing that hand, the crappy 19% showed up. At least you didn't let it tilt you and you battled back. Not always an easy thing to do.

Totally agree. Incredible the way you turned it around, and even if you're hovering near average stack, that's a great place to be given that hand.

or use the new "my stack" app. You can update your chip count and post to FB and twitter in seconds. If you use the app, you appear on the wsop pages.

Fairly certain that's not a priority... not to mention the distraction something like that would provide. Dunno...

He's been updating his chip count after every round. That's what most people do. With the app, you type in amount, press return (it then auto appears on all wsop and pokernews pages). then type your twitter message and click a button. Just as easy as using FB or twitter.

One good things about that app, which would come in handy later today when they approach the bubble is to know exactly where you stand at any moment.

It's far less distracting than playing around on twitter or FB when you are playing LOL.

Just busted. Won the first hand I played, then my friend 3b jammed one of my opens, someone else 3b another of my opens. I'm on the button with K8hh, guy to my direct right opens to 3200 at 800/1600, I jam ~35k, folds back to him, he calls with 99, JJ9 flop. Sighhh.

gg. How loosey-goosey was the 99 guy?
