What was the source of this rumor? A google search of zachary greenberg antifa doesnt even bring up so much as a breitbart article.

Just heard this morning the man arrested for assault Zac Greenberg is 28 and is not a student at Berkeley. Greeny was a student in 2009-10 there.

It's weird. I understand why those that are left-center or left on this board would pooh-pooh the issue or accuse the OP of trolling, but it indeed seems that Berkeley has a problem with left-wing violence on its campus. This is only the latest in a line of incidents there.

I imagine it's a fine spot to be for an older style conservative to get all the political gifts they could dream of including 2-3 conservative SCOTUS justices and a gargantuan tax cut, while keeping whatever odd purity of looking down your nose at the people who delivered it to you. After Trump is gone and his supporters go back to their caves, the conservatives will reflect upon this time and think the degradation of political discourse was worth the gains they made.

There have been speaker intimidations, invite yanks due to fear of violence, burning buildings, violent Antifa protestors, etc.

Why is he on campus? Why is it, every time Bezerkely has a problem, it's "outside agitators" they're letting hang around?

Look, you can argue Berkeley with someone else. I honestly don't have the time for this rabbit hole. #### keeps happening there. Riots, attacks, violence, fires, Antifa keeps showing up on campus, etc.
Argue with somebody else on this one. This is just a dumb discussion and I'm calling it before I waste any more time.

Yeah, it used to be mostly 1. private schools; and 2. schools in areas that were filled with crime when the buildings went up. Berkeley used to be very different. They could probably use some sniper towers now.
