ATL v. KC (1 Viewer)

Turner looking good. Thomas Jones running straight into the pile for 1 yard twice in a row is what I expect to see all season. Looks like Gonzo might have tweaked his knee. Roddy drops two in a row.

Sorry, I've really only been watching offense, don't play in any IDP leagues. But Jamaal Charles looks REALLY good. Great speed and elusiveness.

Has Eric Berry played yet? How does he look?
Hard to tell in pass coverage, since the Falcons just ran it right at KC front and he hasn't been tested. Berry did make a nice diving tackle on Turner on one run after he got through the line cleanly. Tyson Jackson looks just about like last year so far.

If the Chiefs actually do give more carries to Jones than Charles, well, they are dumb.

Charles averaged only 8.3 ypc more than Jones.

Zomgzz, Jones is starting, he's gonna be the starter, he's gonna get more carries than Charles!!1!

couldnt watch the game but i see the stats, how did mccluster look out there?
McCluster looked really good. He played in the slot and as a RB , he was extremely hard to stop on sweeps.
:goodposting: He has elite seperation quickness/speed. 5 car., 25 yards, 3 rec., 23 yards in a little bit of work. I think they just wanted to see him take a few carries; I don't think that type of load will carry over to the regular season. The bottom line is that he's hard to defend in short areas, and as I've been saying for a while the biggest positive for McCluster in the next year or 2 is that KC's QBs simply can't hit the deep ball, and they're always looking to dump it off. Who's open? Dexter McCluster. That was evident in both respects last night: Cassel was under pressure within a few seconds, his eyes are always within 15-20 yards, and McC is running slants and 7s and outs with LBers/slot corners a few paces behind him. McC is going to be very consistent in PPR leagues. I could see 5-50 every week, with the 7-100-1 game sprinkled in here and there. Not to mention any carries, but I don't think that will play a big enough role to be relevant for FF.
