Im off to a three day class on ITIL and was wondering; is there anything that would be helpful to know ahead of time? The pre-req says : "none" but Ive been to classses that state that, and when you get there, they assume you know something on the subject. I do work in IT, so I assume it wont be an issue, but I'd prefer to not be surprised when the class rolls around. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Are you taking the foundations test? If so.. there may or may not be some question/answer bank available on the internet that allowed someone I may or may not know to get a 100 on the test after spending maybe 30 minutes memorizing the answers... allegedly.

 I'd have to look into it further, but I did have to register for some sort of exam that will take place. I'd like to think the knowledge gained in the three days should be good enough to pass the test. :lmao:

Wrote the foundation a couple months ago. Completely worthless other than having it on a resume IMO. Spent about 10 hours studying for it.

If you're good at memorizing catch words and organizational structures, its a breeze. Any IT knowledge you have is useless for the exam.

The no-prerequisites is 100% truth. Someone who has never worked in IT, or even touched a computer, can pass it.

Not sure, I never took a class. I just did the exam. There was an option for the class + exam.
