Participate in some mock drafts. Yahoo and Eason among others run them. If the platform you'll be drafting on has mocks use that.
Participating in an auction end to end will give you a better sense of how they run and what specific questions you have.
Try to get in one of the mocks that has people rather than the Draft bots.
