Baltimore at Chicago (1 Viewer)

We have been inundated this morning on the Chicago networks about a huge storm system with potentially high winds, hail, and possibly tornado activity. The fans at Soldier Field have been advised that they may be asked to evacuate at a moment's notice.

Welcome to the Midwest in November, when it is not snowing or brutally cold, we have severe weather!

Rice with a 47-yard run and TD on the first drive. Thank goodness just traded him as a throw-in. Then again, wouldn't have started him.

Of course, I didn't consider the fact that I will probably lose my DirecTV signal at some point!! :sadbanana:

Looks like the storm will come through the city at about 1:15 Central Time... then I figure about 45 minutes to get the fans back in the stadium. Don't expect the game to start again until 2:00 Central Time. Major downpours right now.

Only in Chicago... our daughters left the snow sleds out from our snowfall about a weeks ago and now the sleds are filled with water!!

I wasn't criticizing, just wondering. I've been to games where they put the players in the locker room and the fans in the concourses but never heard of an actual evacuation.
By evacuation, they mean the fans went into the concourses. Would be kinda silly of them to actually tell the fans to leave the stadium, as then they'd just be out in the weather (in their cars presumably).

Where do all the fans go for 2 hours? Just stand around? If they're allowed to drink somewhere, that's gonna be one rowdy crowd when they resume.

CBS reported they shut down some of the concession stands during the delay.

2:25 start

Do you think Ray Lewis thinks that the storm was a conspiracy in order to stop the Ravens momentum?
