Meh....too easy to criticize a call when it fails...and that fake barely failed. Only a terrific defensive effort stopped it.

Harbug cost them a win last year doing the exact same thing. Instead of taking the easy 3, he went for it and lost the game. He's really an idiot.

The SPECIFIC pass play was terrible, but we don't know if that was the first read either. I'm talking more generally about run vs pass on 3rd and 5 in that spot.

I don't necessarily disagree with the 3rd down call, normally. What has Vick done tonight/his entire career to earn that trust though? Bell is one of if not the best back in the league.

It was a good pass.

I guess this is just going to be agree to disagree because Vick can be an errant turnover machine. I agree the run is conservative but it is far more reliable and offers far higher upside given Vick's play tonight.

I have nothing against passing it there but you gotta at least give Vick the option to pull it down and run for it. They also should have targeted Brown over Coates. Still a nice pass so not on Vick.
