Never thought of the Dead as indicative of any particular season, but Estimated Prophet does give me a summer vibe.

They were often referred to as “the Boys of Summer” - but I think that was based on stadium touring.

With that said, personally they are a big summer band for me - I associate them with the feeling good in the warm sun.
