Bands with the same members for a really long time (1 Viewer)

Golden Earring

All musicians in the present lineup of the band have been continuous members of the band since 1970, although other musicians have joined and left the band during the intervening years.

TP and the heartbreakers

drummers have changed
so has the bass player.
Untrue. While It's true that Ron Blair left the band for about a decade and was replaced by Howie Epstein, Howie is now dead due to a drug problem and Ron has been back with the band for probably a decade. But Ron is the original bassist and has the most tenure. He also played on a few tracks even during the Epstein era.

Bon Jovi has had the same lineup since 1994, with the bass player replaced then. One lineup change in 31 years.

So it's not true that the bass player changed from Blair to Epstein (and then back again)?

Poison has had the same lineup for 30 years except for the 5 years C.C. was out of the band.

Of course they've released less than 20 new non-cover songs since he kicked out in 1991.

Metallica has been with this lineup for a while right? Although it was comical that even decades later they would refer to Jason Newsted as the 'new guy'' even after having replaced Cliff Burton (RIP) years before that
Newsted left in 2001.

Muse has had the same 3 guys since inception 20 years ago. In the studio right now recording a new album

Bee Gees 1958-2003

They had a few session members that were considered part of the band in the late '60s/early '70s, but really just the three of the Gibbs.

X is the same band it was in 1977 - they did have a brief period with Billy Zoom being gone for couple of years in the mid 80's - but are back in the original lineup for over 20 plus years
