1. Tatum Bell (adp 7) He is gradually moving up, but I think he is going to be the man in Detroit this year. I can see Martz trying to use him just like he did Marshall Faulk with the Rams. He is not as talented as Faulk, but he does have speed. He’ll catch some passes also. He didn’t fit the one cut then stick your head down and get what you can get style in Denver. Martz offensive style fits him much better, which is exactly why they traded for him.
2. Fred Taylor (adp 7) He will at least did what he did last year, and I don’t see MJD as having such a big impact as last year. He just signed a new contract recently didn’t he? They brought him back for a reason. He would be an awesome RB3.
3. DeShaun Foster (adp 9) His head coach has showed a pension for staying with the veteran guys. There is no guarantee that Williams is the guy, just a lot of speculation. Isn’t that what they speculated last year? He could end up being a steal in the ninth round.
4. W. Dunn (adp 9) He has been moving down since news of his injury. Another great player that is always underrated. I think he is still the starter when it’s all said and done in Atlanta. Harrington will be looking for him out of the backfield a lot on pass plays. Great value in the ninth.
5. A. Thomas (adp 14) Another situation where everyone is assuming the rookie is going to be the main man. Thomas can be productive if given the chance, I could see him being the 1st and 2nd down guy in a RBBC situation. He’ll even be more productive when the the rook hits the wall late in the season.
6. Other guys to watch – Brown, A. Peterson, Pittman, J. Harrison
Rookie Watch
Booker (adp 15) Can you say Warrick Dunn junior, he’ll catch some passes and make some big plays.
Leonard – Don’t underestimate his potential as a solid backup to SJ. He can catch, block, and run. That equals some playing time.
