Baseball site (1 Viewer)

No. This was about 5 years ago, if memory serves,

Synopsis:

1) Hoss reveals he is suffering from clinical depression at Rotojunkie.

2) FBG in the vicinity respond with what is, in retrospect, mild mockery.

3) Said FBG get flamed.

4) More FBG come charging in, many of whom subsequently get banned.

5) I wander into the middle of it, and say, "Hey! Let's go hassle people over at FBG!" THis is generally vierwed as a good idea.

6) I come in here, start crap, and realize I came over by myself.

7) I find FBG amusing and informative, stick around, and eventually become adicted to Werewolf.
boy did this turn out poorly for you.

Anyways, did ya'll ever get the site off the ground or was it like a Wright Brothers flight? Looked good on paper, worked, but only for a little while.

well, me an my gb tiger fan, with help from :11: have worked out the finances. i have agreed to bear a chunk of the $ burden, with contributions always welcome. if you want to send 10- shoot me a pm.

the board, under the guise www.rotodugout.com should be up and running by next week.

it will have a www.baseballjesus.com redirect.

could probably use some good content and forum suggestions are certainly welcome.

let's try to be fresh.

:lmao: :lmao:

i know this has been done, but cant find anything using the search function.

Is there a baseball site out there similar to this one? Somewhere that you can get good projections, and maybe even somthign similar to the draft dominator? I subscribed here for the first time this year and loved it, and would love to be able to use somthing liek this for baseball.
Baseball HQ. Ron Shandlers site -- far and away the best for fantasy baseball.
One of my friend's uses his book and calls it the Bible of baseball

One idea that I have always liked was having a content contributor from each city - sort of a beat writer for the team to contribute soemthing daily and weekly- one for each team. For example: Daily content - transactions, rumors, observations, etc...

Weekly content - Hitter trends, pitching matchups, etc...

If you need a volunteer for the Seattle Mariners - let me know...

This is actually a pretty nice idea, but I'm not sure we'd have the range to keep things together for all 30 teams.

you know, this is actually a cohesive idea......maybe a forum or content area where, in blog style, beat 'writers' can provide updates & trends.

we'd need 30 guys with good knowledge of each team willing to contribute.

UPDATE - i am in the process of purchasing a web host. the license has been purchased.

once the web host has been established, maxwell will set up us the board.
