Baseball Songs (1 Viewer)

I am a big fan of the Diamond Cuts series of CDs with obscure baseball songs. My favorite is the 3rd installment, Triple Play, but great songs are to be found on each one i've bought so far (through "Top of the 6th").

One favorite song is "Letters in the Dirt" by Chuck Brodsky, an homage to Brodsky's boyhood favorite **** Allen. Sample of the lyrics:

How could they call a guy a bum

After he'd just hit a home run.

That didn't make any sense to a kid

Now I've since found out all of these years later,

Now I know a lot more than I did

Why all those other people booed

Thanks for letting me have my heroes as a kid.
