Bears cut Archuleta (1 Viewer)

The guy just cant cover. He was a combine all-star, and a 'tweener', and the Rams blew it taking him in the 1st round. He's never been anything more than a really small LB. Funny to think the 'Skins actually made him the league's highest paid player when they brought him in. He'll turn up on another team before long though, imo.

I don't know if this is completely fair to AA. Talk to any Rams fan (and I'm surrounded by scores of them) and they'll tell you that AA was an impact player, although never a great cover guy, until the concussions and injuries did him in to the point where he was only a shell of his former self. In his prime he was basically Steve Atwater Lite.Agree completely with you on how ridiculous it was for the Skins to make him the highest paid player at his position. AA was definitely one of the worst FA signings of all time. The only thing more ludicrous than that was the Bears actually giving the Skins a draft pick for AA :jawdrop: .

:jawdrop: on both counts. This was the most boneheaded player move of the Joe Gibbs era, rivalled only by the Brandon Lloyd debacle. Quite the offseason they had two years ago. :wall:

And to think the Bears found a way to roster both of these guys after they failed in DC

And look who's on the Bears now. Maybe someday we will learn our lesson about taking castoffs from the Skins.

His wife/fiance/girlfriend is craz-E hot. Jennifer Walcott playboy hottie. googleit.
:goodposting: she is in my top 10 and as far as I am concerned, a good enough reason to have this guy on your team, at least through training camp........ :stalker: :welcome: :pickle:

She is why he no longer is worth a roster spot. And you know what, good for him. I wouldn't give a crap about playing football if I had that at home either. :goodposting:

Oh how the Packers faithful were gnashing their teeth when the Bears signed Adam and we stuck with Atari Bigby and Nick Collins. Damn that Tightwad Ted

so mcgowan is the de facto starter over steltz at this point?
If so I think that means that we have given up on Daniel Manning at safety, because Mike Brown is penciled in at one of the spots. So i'd say it's a pretty open 3-way competition with Manning holding a slight edge.

:sadbanana: Although that was nothing compared to the gnashing that went on when he failed to reel in Lavar Arrington. :lmao:
