Love Phil saying how the Packers are back now and Rodgers is back "when the offense is run like this" with this 2nd half performance against Matt BarkleyI agree with the logic completely. I think it's moreso Simms/Nantz telling people "there's a chance it's only 2 possessions - stay tuned!" (for the commercials).
That wasn't pointless, it got him over 300.Leave Rodgers in for a pointless pass play, and let him get hurt.
Suddenly I see the point of those who claim McCarthy is a bad coach...
Not to divert the thread, but I think one of the trailers shows him grabbing a pepper shaker, and implies that he breaks it with the tip of it.I don't care if you name is Jack Reacher - I am betting you break your hand prior to smashing the drivers door window. Looks like another job for the Myth Busters.
A karate man could do it.I don't care if you name is Jack Reacher - I am betting you break your hand prior to smashing the drivers door window. Looks like another job for the Myth Busters.
And what does that mean, in the long run, compared to being healthy for the next time he has to throw 300?That wasn't pointless, it got him over 300.
At least Al gives you a FFAWT plug in SNF games like this. Simms is so Corporate.Love Phil saying how the Packers are back now and Rodgers is back "when the offense is run like this" with this 2nd half performance against Matt Barkley
Oh, it means nothing to me - I have no Rodgers shares. And what does that mean, in the long run, compared to being healthy for the next time he has to throw 300?
I started Rodgers and Cobb, and would love to see them score another TD...but that doesn't make it any less dumb for their coach to have them in there doing it.Oh, it means nothing to me - I have no Rodgers shares.
Stat whores and fantasy players love it though.
Ahh OK.Not to divert the thread, but I think one of the trailers shows him grabbing a pepper shaker, and implies that he breaks it with the tip of it.
I think i meant to type Davante Adams. Yeah that's what happened.Just a smidge.
Is it possible they're going for the record for "most accepted penalties" or something?so these penalties they are calling now in the last 2:30 of the game are for the simple reason to make the overall penalty numbers look more even after the game right?
Dammit, no -1 on the block.hahahahahahahaha - another -1 for the crosby owner in my league.![]()
yeah, is there no exec anywhere that calls him on so many of the dumb things he says? i saw him on Inside the NFL this week and he didn't sound as dumb as he does during gamesteam reminds me of NE!
Adams was good week 5 vs the Giants. Got knocked out last week after a couple catches. It's not quite a trend yet, but he's displaying some good route running and improving his consistency.yes it's clear the Bears plan was to take Jordy out and force adams to beat them. Can't blame them when adams has looked pretty bad so far. had a great game and looked excellent. I'm eating crow on adams tonight
Having dejavu on this - didn't Adams have a flash 2 years ago and everyone jumped on his nuts only to experience the all or nothing maddening weekly inconsistency?Adams was good week 5 vs the Giants. Agreed. I have read several of the books and it always bothered me that they casted the 5' 10" Tom Cruise in that role.To be fair, in the books he's 6 foot 8, two-fifty-plus, and built like a Swedish weightlifting champion.
2 years ago he was a rookie. Yes he was inconsistent as the #3 WR. Last year he had a high ankle sprain, and was mostly just bad.Having dejavu on this - didn't Adams have a flash 2 years ago and everyone jumped on his nuts only to experience the all or nothing maddening weekly inconsistency?
Isn't he still the #3 WR?2 years ago he was a rookie. Yes he was inconsistent as the #3 WR. Last year he had a high ankle sprain, and was mostly just bad.
He's not built to be a RB. He has a WR body.Im pretty sure Montgomery will feel this game tomorrow
Dang. Maybe this will be the combined RB stats for the next 2 or 3 games?Since we've been pulling stuff out of our behinds all day about GB's RB situation, why stop now! Projections for Don Jackson?

according to yahoo player profiles:He's not built to be a RB. He has a WR body.
Jordy isn't right. Not sure if it's a matter of time until he gets it back, or if the ACL permanently sapped him of his difference making ability. He can still play, but he doesn't command double digit targets anymore.Isn't he still the #3 WR?
Well, I guess if Nelson turns out to be hurt he'd be the WR2.
Hell, i don't even know if GB has defined roles after this game. RB, WR, QB - all seems kinda meaningless at this point.
The game script just didn't need jordy tonight. Why force the ball to your deep threat when the other team can't stop you throwing short passes. The bears offense also looked horrible. The packers throwing to mont and cobb isnt sustainable, an actual run game will open things up for JordyJordy isn't right. Regardless, the Packers don't have a RB worth anything on their roster, and won't for the rest of the season. IMO Rodgers is gonna lead the league in pass attempts from here on out. There's gonna be a lot of dink and dunk passes to be sure. Still, I'm expecting Adams to be a big part of this passing game going forward.
