I believe a Bama fan got jailtime for teabagging an LSU fan so I have to imagine a Bears sack on Hunter will at least draw a heavy fine if not a suspension.

I would think a sack is the correct call. The OL pass blocked and he had the ball in the ready position. He didn't tuck it until right before the tackle/sack.

How many times has a RB ever been sacked? A game in my league depends on this stat as its a 1 point play and they teams will tie if its overturned.

All I know is that he actually should have thrown it away. He had plenty of time to do so.

I have been researching SACK and I can't find anything definition of the stat that doesn't say Quarterback exclusively in it? So would that by definition mean this was not a sack then?

I don't see this being reversed.

2nd and 7 at CHI 27 K.Hunter sacked at CHI 31 for -4 yards (sack split by N.Roach and L.Briggs). K.Hunter on a HB pass attempt.
