Bears vs Cardinals (1 Viewer)

With the Cardinals having the disappointing season to date after high expectations,
They have lived up to their high expectations, IMO.They have been "in" three of their losses until the very last DRIVE.Flip the script on those three drives and . . . .
We'd be living in an alternate universe in which the Cardinals don't melt down in crunch time.
:goodposting:
:lmao: at giving YOURSELF a good posting.Sorry for the bump - I thought I'd be checking back into a funny little thread about a classic comedy movie. Wanted to see if the guy who forwarded us that link to the Pearl Harbor history lesson has picked up on this yet. Instead, I find the nonsensical post above. One MORE game the Cards shoulda won - meltdown at the end of games notwithstanding, they have now lost four games on the final drive, twice when Rackers failed to do exactyly what Rackers NEVER failed to do last year. This team is about 12 points away from being 4-2 instead of 1-5. The Cards are gonna turn heads before this year is out - and they will have caught up to the Rams and Seahawks when the '07 season opens.
Did it appear that I was attempting to hide the fact that that was me posting it?You're right. It's stupid how close the Cards come to winning these games. Not as stupid as it is that they keep melting down in crunch time, but pretty stupid.Let me know when the league starts counting "almost" as a W, Levin. When that happens you can call my post about the Cardinals melting down nonsensical. Until it happens, you can continue to talk about how the Cardinals are ALMOST good or NEARLY good or VERY CLOSE to a winning team, but they are not a winning team. They are a group of extremely talented men who cannot step on the neck of the opposing football team and refuse to let them back in the game. I don't understand why you keep apologizing for them.12 points or 1200 points away doesn't really matter. 1-5 is out of the playoffs, especially after that last loss. That's the end of a football season, and it might be the greatest collapse I've ever seen in football.
Sorry - can't get past :lmao: at you good posting a prediction that the Cards would melt down. THAT is the nonsensical part - you good posting YOURSELF on a prediction you stated was obvious. Didn't see me :goodposting: my non-Bears blowout posts, didja?BTW, getting blown out (like the Raiders or the Lions) is a LOT different than barely losing games. If you can't see the Cards as a drastically improved team from the one that was a doormat two years ago, well, then I guess you must have been one of the last to also see that the Bengals had turned it around three years ago.Yer right that almost doesn't "count," but it sure feels a lot closer to a winning team than my team(the Dolphins) at 1-4. Not all losses are equal? Then why does a 4-1 team that blows out 4 of their 5 opoonents get more "play" as a winning team than a team that ekes out 4 wins and loses one big.Who is better - Denver or San Diego? Denver or Seattle? Denver (4-1) or New Orleans(5-1)? How you win matters in determining how good a team you are - how you LOSE does the same thing. The Cards won't make the playoffs, but they will turn heads this year and they will be competitive next year.

Are you developmentally disabled? Did we dance into the realm where you're arguing for me? Yes, how you lose determines how good a team you are. When how you lose is consistently melting down in the face of a winning situation, you prove you have no heart, no commitment, and no confidence. And that's the Cardinals this season, particularly after that loss. The Cards have already turned heads - for one of the worst meltdown losses in NFL history. And if you can't see that, well, I guess that explains your inability to see why someone would find it funny to bump his own post with a :goodposting: like many of us do when looking for some humor.Closer to a winning team? What the hell does that mean? Who's the closer to being a SuperBowl winning QB? Marino or Jim Kelly? Yes, the Cards will finish with a better record than the Raiders. Wow. Great season. And you know as well as I do that however clearly you think you see those matchups you're talking about, any of those teams have the chance of beating each other any week. The Eagles were the top of the NFC according to many until the Saints beat them last week. I can see them taking out any team on that list just as I can see any team on that list taking them out.Your attempts at insults are poor, your take on the relevence of the game is unfortunate, and your inability to see that while the team may be good in the FUTURE (which I have never argued against) they are not NOW a good team is just strange. Have a great season, guy.

Cards definitely turning heads early today, Levin. I can definitely see what you mean about the difference between a team like the Cardinals and a team like the Raiders.
