Bears vs Raiders - Week 5 (1 Viewer)

Run, run, amd run again. They can't do anything against the run. Then when they are sucked in hit them with a long bomb!!!

Really perfect game plan execution so far for the Raiders -- finding success with the run to set up the pass, the O-line playing immaculately in both dominating the LOS on runs and keeping the pocket clean. Bears D on the field for much longer than they want to be.

Raiders D playing solid as well -- good penetration and disruption in the backfield with at least 3 sacks so far, making tackles to prevent chains moving, and sound coverage in the secondary.

LET'S GO RAIDERS! Let's keep this Bears team on their heels and not to the typical Raider thing of letting the other team back in the game.

Bear’s looking like they wanted to stay home this weekend. Pathetic in just about every aspect of the game.

They may take a page out of the Raiders book and not wait for Friday to travel for their next London game.

Can't say that's a definitive factor but they look flat and getting pushed around out there.

Bears barely could do anything with a give me mistake turnover and 20 penalties committed by one player on one play to give them 1st and goal.

I smell the Raiders getting punched in the mouth and not having the fire to seize back control of this game.
Exactly.

I posted in the Coaches being obviously stupid thread, when Gruden took a knee to end the half with a T.O., 28 seconds, the ball at their 40ish, up three scores he essentially let both the offense and defense know he didn't have faith in them.

And now it's a 3 point game.

And even if what happened before the half isn't the reason I have consistently noticed since week 1 of last year that the Raiders seem to make zero adjustments at half. Great teams identify weaknesses, on their side and the opposition, in-game, and make adjustments. Gruden and Guenther just don't seem to do that. They're front-runners.
