Beason's Value? (1 Viewer)

Does his value drop with this development regarding the Carolina D-Line losing Kemoeatu ? Beason is still on the board at 1.04 of my defensive draft.

Drafted so far (I pick at 4) are: Willis, Peppers, Ruud.

Defense

Solo Tackles: 2 points

Assisted Tackles: 1 point

Sacks: 3 points

Safeties: 2 points

Passes Defended: 2 points

Interceptions: 4 points

Defensive Touchdowns: 6 points

Fumble Forced: 1 point

Fumble Recoveries: 2 points

Fumble Recovered for TD: 6 points

Kemoeatu's loss will be felt, but Jon Beason is about as situation independent as you can find at LB. This wouldn't drop him out of the top tier for me.

Kemoeatu missed most of Week 15 and Weeks 16 and 17 last year. Beason had nine solos in Week 15, was 8-6 in Week 16 and 2-0 in Week 17. I think he's still a safe LB1.

Should there be ANY concerns whatsoever about the new DC Ron Meeks, since Meeks is a Tampa2 guy? Haven't read anything in these boards or elsewhere suggesting he'll implement changes, but wanted to make sure..

I think Beason should be fine.

On the other hand, Peppers went REALLY early, especially for only 3 points per sack and 2 per tackle. LB's should be worth way more.
