Last few weeks, the Pats have jumped out to 30+ point leads in/around the 3rd quarter. Logic would suggest that, with their defense, a lead of 30 points is probably sufficient with less than 1/3 of the game remaining; yet, Belichick has kept Brady, Moss, etc. in the game in these situations.
Not only is this poor sportsmanship, but I think Belichick is putting his players in jeopardy by playing them under these circumstances. Not only are they still playing a dangerous game, they are playing against players who are losing (badly) and extremely frustrated. It won't be long before somebody gets 'irritated' and takes a cheap shot on a marquis player out of frustration in such a situation...if that player gets hurt, I point the finger (the middle one) at Belichick, not the guy who laid the hit on the player.
[Oh yeah, the Pats are for real.]
