The rotowire reports have not sounded too optimistic regarding this knee which I have read was only a bruise. Latest says a cortizone shot was a success and he will return, but should be monitored. I have also seen them at times, knock a player even when they have no business doing so.

This reminds me a lot of the Pujols drama last year before drafts where they said he was a DL stint waiting to happen...well we have been waiting for a season plus.

CF at Citi Field is a lot different the a corner bag at Busch but is Beltran back to fine health now? His price has probably come down a bit to where you wouldn't have to pay top dollar anymore.

Is he a good buy or is he a "buyer beware" , thoughts?

I'm trying to trade for him in one of my leagues as well.

Everything I've read from the Mets says they fully expect him to play on Friday. He's always played through injuries. IMO now might be the cheapest time to buy the best all around CF in the game.

If you can get him at a discount from an owner who's concerned about the knee, sure, but if you're paying a top 20 price do you really think the risk is worth it?

I'm not bothering.
