You guys are over-thinking, anxious before the season starts, and/or just trying WAAAY to hard to try to catch the next Foster. What you are suggesting with these "What if....Can this become a RBBC....can Tate take over type of questions is just not realistic.1. Its pre-season. Does anyone need reminded how many guys look like Pre-season gods but then quickly become irrelevant when the bullets start flying for real?2. The coaching staff said just a few days ago that Foster is "the man" and needs 20-25 touches a game. And that's based on good reason..this is the guy that led the league in yards, TDs, and was upper echelon in receptions and ypc...the guy is a feature type talented back in the NFL.3. THe types of scenarios you are describing seems to suggest that this staff is going to take what they built, see some guy that looks like a shiny new toy, and then abrupthly dump what they have and start monkeying with it. That's the kind of stuff we do as fantasy owners; not what head coaches with their job on the line and a legit "window" to break through in their division does.Does no one remember how many times Michael Turner used to play in the place of LT or come in when the game was out of hand and Turner would look fantastic? Did the Charger ever say, "well that's great! Let's take the ball out of our league leading rusher's hands and get this kid more involved?" Really, what all this suggests is that Tate could be a good talent that may very well produce in this league. So, if you are drafting him hoping he gets traded or hoping that Foster gets an injury that is season-ending, then that's probably a realistic possibility. But if you are drafting him thinking he is going to eat into and maybe push Foster into a reduced role large enough to make Tate fantasy relevant, you're not there yet.
