So, as the title said:

Randy Moss vs NYJ. Last 3 games vs the Jets he's had a total of 10 rec, 127 yds, 1 td. Last week the Jets held Andre Johnson to crap.

Starting Greg Jennings and Santonio Holmes at WR this week. Holmes @ CHI will outscore Moss.

Tune in week 3 for more great advice.

So his last 3 games against the Jets.........one in bad weather and 2 with Cassel. The game before that I believe he had 14O+ with 3 td's

Listen real hard, this is for your own good. You never ever ever sit Randy Moss [especially when the are gonna blow out the Jets today]

If you think the first offensive play by NE won't be a bomb downfield to Moss to "embarass" loudmouth Rhodes, you will be mistaken.

There are basically only 4 guys that qualify you for idiot status for benching.

They are: Adrian Peterson, Randy Moss, Drew Brews, Tom Brady.

Benching any of these guys absent a snowstorm or a hurricane is inexcuseable.

Hope that helps.

Hope you are talking about Sinorice. Because Santana is going to go wild today and Randy is perhaps the best player in the NFL.

as a longtime Ravens fan, let me just caution you that the downside of Rex Ryan's all-out blitz schemes is the same as it was in his daddy's defenses -- it leaves WRs in single-coverage on the outside without safety help. So if a QB can get his passes off, and is accurate to a single-covered deep WR -- look out!

Just take a look at last year's Ravens-Indy game for an example.

It's a trap. If you don't think this game is going to be a 38-35 game, you are sadly mistaken. NE has no defense and their offense will be amped up to put a 4 qr beatdown on the Jets. Good old fashioned shootout coming up today.

This post brought back memories of Izell "Toast" Jenkins.NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eh, I can kinda see where you're coming from. The Jets D is definitely improved, and I think will match up much better against the Pats. Moss will definitely have his work cut out for him this week.

However, I personally could never see myself benching Moss... but that's just me...

I disagree. There are bye weeks. Or weeks he might be questionable...or weeks they have their playoff spot clinched and the coach says he is going to sit him...

NFL leader in Targets Week 1 - Randy Moss (tied with Welker)

NFL leader in Catches Week 1 - Randy Moss (tied with Welker)

Stat Line last time the Pats came to the Meadowlands with a healthy Tom Brady

9-183-1

From all that we can conclude that in high school kinghill was a wide receiver.

Look at me! Look at me!!

Horrible idea. Just horrible.

Edit: Here's how terrible that idea is: Last year, against Ryan's Balt D, Marvin Harrison went off. Yes, that over-the-hill WR who can't find a roster spot this season.

I think D. Revis is one of the most underrated corners in the game right now. That being said, I'm still not benching Moss.

I have Moss on two teams and only way he is not playing is if he is hurt. You spent a high pick on him, with reason he was going to be a core player of the team all year long. After one week of play thinking too much on benching him, unless you have 3 elite WRs to start in front of him. Wayne, Fitz, and C. Johnson might do it for me.

OVER THINKING!!!

If he was going to bench him before, he definitely should now. Take into account I'd never do this, but without Welker to take some of the coverage away from Moss, look for double teams all day.

1st half, 3 rec, 16 yds. He'll probably blow up in the 2nd half but so far so good on my move
Regardless of how it works out, I commend you for having a conviction and sticking with it.It's amazing how many people subscribe to "never bench your studs"... it's not like they don't have bad games that can't to some degree be predicted. That said... I'm not sure I'd ever bench Randy Moss though. :2cents:
