Benching Randy Moss for Street FAs (1 Viewer)

We start 4 "receivers" (WRs or TEs count the same) and I have NOBODY behind Randy Moss.

So how bad is it at this point? Would you bench him for pretty much any street FA WR or TE?

There's a lot of good TEs available b/c we bonus long distance TDs which limits the upside of most TEs so guys like Pettigrew, Marcedes Lewis and Jimmy Graham are availble.

Or I could try my luck with some of the available FA WRs like Meachem, Brandon Gibson, Obomanu or Deon Butler.

Idk....has it really gotten that bad or should I just keep Randy Moss starting?

Meachem has got A LOT more going for him right now than Randy Moss. That's a no-brainer swap.Check out Meachem's last six weeks. Not ultra-consistent, no, but a decent chance each week at a nice fantasy performance.

Yeah I was thinking Meachem is worth playing over Moss but after last week's performance, I may not get him late in the claim order. Meachem is also pretty erratic but I guess that's still better than Moss who's been consistently awful.

I gave been playing Moss in 2 leagues, and sitting guys like Amendola and Burelson.

It hasn't really cost me a win yet, but I have such a hard time benching him.

His schedule is so juicy, I am so afraid to see him on my bench and have him go off for 5/144/3TD's

Or maybe I am just delusional.

I was set, I told myself, I am benching him this week.

Then I see Tenn plays Hou.

Worst pass D in the league...so I am rolling with him.

Moss did cost me my game this week and that was against a horrible pass D in WSH. Now he's also down to Rusty Smith FWIW.

And I don't know if he has a 140+ yard game in him. He hasn't gone over 100 yards since week 10 in 2009.

Hardly a stretch but rolling with Tampa Mike and Steve Johnson over him now Nicks is hurt as well. Moss cannot be trusted anymore no matter who the opponent is unfortunately.

C'mon man....guys like Tampa Mike, Steve Johnson and even James Jones are obvious plays over Randy "Goose Egg" Moss.

I'm talking about receivers that would be on the waiver wire in 12 team leagues who would/might be better plays than Randy.
